I honestly never saw the whole Alex/Alexis thing coming.
I started to think it when Daniel went on about his brother.
How cute was Betty and Daniel's "dinner meeting."

"I'm gonna get Daniel another horse to ride."

I never saw the Alex/Alexis thing coming either. I've spent the whole time thinking maybe Faye never really died in that car crash and it was her. HAH. joke's on me!

I loved Daniel and Betty's night out together. I also love that they're not going the predictable route with their relationship...having her pine away for him. I think their dynamic as colleagues and friends is just perfect.

Rebecca Romijn looks great! Judith Light (also excellent on the show) is going to pass out when she sees her "son."

I REALLY don't think Daniel will hook up with Betty. From what I understand, other incarnations of this show have hooked the Betty and Daniel characters up too quickly and were cancelled shortly after because the audience wasn't that interested in what happened from then on.

I think that Betty and Henry are going to hook up by the end of the season while Betty and Daniel will forge a stronger friendship. I do think that Betty and Daniel will get together eventually, but not for another season or two.

I guess I'm a short term Betty/Henry shipper and a long term Betty/Daniel shipper :)

The whole reason this works so well is because Daniel values Betty for her brains, loyalty and competence. If they were attracted to one another, I think it would throw the whole thing off. She's not drooling over Daniel like every other assistant he's had and doesn't want anything from him other than thr opportunity to prove herself.

But by all means, bring on Henry!

I don't think Daniel and Betty should hook up. I mean, that would ruin like the others have said their friendship and working relationship. I like the idea of Betty and Henry, I like that she won't be with dull as dishwater Walter.

And WHY is it when this show hits its stride we get the following week is RERUNS!?

I don't believe Betty and Daniel should hook up. But there now will be competition between Daniel and Alexis that Betty will have to negotiate.

Isn't amazing that such an "ugly" person, to me she does not look that bad, could be so beautiful inside? It goes to show you how people automatically judge a book by its cover. Your beautiful to me Betty inside and out.

She's not ugly, just not MODE's workers idea of beauty.
She's not glamarous or anything fake.
She's real and very inspirtational

It wont.
Salma stated in an interview that type of relationship between the Betty and Daniels internationally as many have pointed out spelled disaster. As did making over Betty.
I highly doubt they would wanna ruin the success they have with such a tactic that didn't work originally.

I like it how she's not conforming to their views of beauty.
I love how she and Daniel can be friends.

Supermodel Naomi Campbell is set to star in Ugly Betty as a “loony” fashionista.

The role in the double Golden Globe winning show will mark the feisty star’s television acting debut.

"On Ugly Betty I'll play a loony who loves to shop and can't find a man. I like that sort of role," Campbell has revealed.
