Love it. Can't wait to hear more casting news, Lange and Paulson were out of the world in ASYLUM. Please no Lily Rabe!

LILY RABE is signed for Season 3
(EW.COM)
Looks like Lily Rabe’s about to complete an American Horror Story hat trick. Series creator Ryan Murphy tweeted last night that the actress will return for his anthology’s upcoming third season: “So thrilled to announce Lily Rabe is onboard for American Horror Story Season Three!” he wrote. “So talented, love her!”
Previously, Rabe played suicidal socialite Nora Montgomery on American Horror Story: Murder House and possessed nun Sister Mary Eunice McKee on American Horror Story: Asylum. She’s joining a third season cast that already includes returning repertory players Sarah Paulson, Jessica Lange, and Evan Peters. Murder House star Taissa Farmiga is in talks to headline the series’s next installment as well.
Sorry, guys! Didn't mean to mislead anyone.
I saw it and got excited.

That ad is a fake. FX has a marketing team that won't make their promos look like some dumpy fifteen year old with no hobbies made them on their HP laptop.
The third season is dealing with witchcraft, but apparently it is going to be about a family in politics who use such magic. And the title has yet to be decided by the creatives.

To you that looks as if a specifically dumpy 15 year old made it? How do you arrive such insight?
It can't be Salem during the Witch Trials because Murphy has said repeatedly that this next season is set in the present day. There will be some flashbacks like in Season 1, but the bulk of it will be in three locations in modern-day America.

But he also hinted the "monster" (ie Rubber Man and Bloody Face) wouldbe female and based on a real person--so it could flashback to Salem.
I hadn't even thought of that possibility. I'm hoping that it's something involving Salem and really hoping Taissa Farmiga does indeed return.
"What season three is about is more historical in nature," he teased.
Why hasn't Lizzie Brochere signed on yet? My little heart is about to crack.

FYI...they start talking season 3 at approximately 32 minutes in, for those who wish to slide the video bar over to that point, but the first part is a lot of fun and interesting too.
(Edited to correct "AMH" -- why the hell did I type that??lol - to AHS.duh)
