You're right, it was. I was confused about that. But didn't we also see him and Jessica Lange standing outside the house looking in a few weeks ago? I get confusified.

I don't think he was outside - wasn't she outside looking in and saw him in the window? Or was there another time I'm not remembering?

Do you guys think that was Tate in the rubber costume at the end, or was it the "real" rubber guy?

And Reg, I totally agree with you about how dense this show is. Doc Jensen's reviews on EW are similar to his for Lost. I'm beginning to think this show is the true heir to Lost's style. Walking Dead is pretty great, but not nearly as dense. None of the other shows that have been heralded as the "new Lost" have come close to living up to it (though I still think Flash Forward could have if it didn't take that huge break in the middle of the season).

I looooooooved Flash Forward. I got that virtually no one else did, but I loved it unconditionally.

I am trying so hard with AHS, because so many other people whose opinions I respect are digging it, and I'm just such a huge fan of Jessica Lange and Denis O'Hare, but it's just so hard for me to get in to it. I just hate the writing. I noticed that the one I thought was the least poorly written was the one written by Jennifer Salt, so I guess I hope she writes more of the teleplays?

Phyllis - other than a couple of slow eps. right after the break (where I thought they lost a LOT of viewers) - I agree. Flash Forward was clever and intriguing. I was very disappointed it didn't catch on more.

Love the tone of the show and the mood Murphy has created. It's very spooky and I have thoroughly enjoyed every episode.

That being said, I'm at a loss of explanation for it.

Constance must be dead.... And Tate must be as well. But I too have been wondering if Dylan and Connie's characters are dead too...

What a nice treat of Quinto this week! SPOILER - Sad to see Abby die at the end. I hope it's not the end of her... Was really enjoying that character.

I'm not convinced Constance is dead. She's not tied to the house the same way Tate or Moira are...

Rolling Stone's take on the show is sort of interesting:

"Ryan Murphy, you sick, brilliant bastard. The Glee creator's new opus, American Horror Story, might seem like the total opposite of his most famous show. One has fresh-faced high school kids singing "Don't Stop Believin.'" The other has gimps and bloodbaths. But they're both coming from the same place: a teen loser's revenge fantasy about punishing the straight world for ignoring him. And this is Ryan Murphy's home turf."

"The gods who nurse this universe think little of mortals' cares. They sit in crowds on exclusive clouds and laugh at our love affairs. I might have had a real romance if they'd given me a chance. I loved him, but he didn't love me. I wanted him, but he didn't want me. Then the gods had a spree and indulged in another whim. Now he loves me, but I don't love him." - Cole Porter

I'm watching the mini marathon right now. Who is Constance? I can't keep all of their names straight. Is that Jessica Lange's character?

That's right, Stockard...Lange is Constance and I think she's terrific!
I'm loving this series.

Thanks, Doodle. I'm watching the last one right now. It's all making much more sense now that I've seen the previous shows.

The series is slowly improving in my eyes. Much better than the first few. LOVE LOVE O'Hare!

I think Constance is alive.

**spoiler**
I did think it a nice touch that she tried to drag Addie into the house before she died.

and no, I don't think it was Tate in the rubber suit again at the end.

Tink, I think Constance is alive too. I also think Tate is alive. Ben called his mom about a new psychiatrist.......who would he have been talking to if Tate is dead?

My Thoughts: Constance was dragging Addie to the "property" of the house, so her "Spirit"-"Ghost" would remain in the house. So if Addie is truly dead, I don't think we have seen the last of her. I love Lange in this, she is a HOOT! Also, Quinto was so funny. Hoping I see more of him.

Is it chance that Ryan Murphy has a down syndrome person in another project? First Becky and now Addie. Love it!

OK, so Ben and (wife?) are home from the hospital? And we never found out what was wrong or why the nurse fainted? Did I miss something?

I thought the whole "Do you believe in God" "I said yes" was a tasteless allusion to Columbine. I mean, I get Tate's whole story is a tasteless allusion to Columbine, but that the exchange with the girl he killed was just extra gross to me.

I seem to like the odd number episodes. Loved 1 and 3, but not 2 and 4. I didn't mind the Columbine thing so much, because it turned out the whole "she said yes" theme from Columbine was a work of fiction anyway, she never said it. I thought the girl in this one was funny when she got to the punch line.

Oh, I know she never said it (and the whole myth around it is another story) but the allusion still icked me out.

(I am, BTW, but I didn't hear any more about it either. I hope we go back to it.)

So, Tate is definitely dead. What I can't get is how he is attached to the murder house unless he went back there after the shooting and killed himself or died somehow. I also don't understand how the gay couple and Tate don't have visible wounds when all the other ghosts have them. Moira has the weird eye, but not really a wound per se. The doctor's wife has the back of the head wound. The teens all had their injuries.

Constance must be alive if she was able to go to the morgue and identify the body, but I may be thinking too hard on that one.

Stock, the baby thing bugged the $hit out of me, too. No explanation as to why the nurse alluded to the fact that the baby was much bigger than it should have been or why she fainted. We're supposed to believe that a nurse passed out and the patient just left with no check up?

I didn't like the Columbine line either, real or not. It was too easy, in my opinion.

Pretty pretty please don't you ever ever feel like you're less than f**ckin' perfect!

The preview for next week addressed alot of your questions. The baby must be growing at a rapid pace (that is what the nurse freaked out about) They showed a SWAT team going into the house to get Tate, so he probably died there. Also I think Constance is alive and convinced Tate that the shootings were all a dream or didn't happen. The cheerleader sad she should be 34, so the shooting happened in the 90's. Maybe that is why she lives next door to be close to him. Maybe Constance killing his father pushed him over the edge? Or maybe he was a baby just like the one Vivian is carrying?
