Doodle, "prosperity gospel" churches usually aren't too friendly with the 'mos. Strangely enough, they're also often run by them.

This was just posted earlier on Joe's Place Blog
"Adam was told over the weekend he could not perform the song of his choosing. As of Monday night he still did not have a song. This info is from a post by a fellow Wicked cast member. We don’t know yet what song he wanted to sing… Same old crap from AI…."
I feel bad for him.

Gahhh I hate having a favorite this early on!! haha
In previous years I didn't really get fully into Idol until finals time. So like, last year, I became a Cook fanatic, but by the time that happened he'd already proven incredibly consistent. So it wasn't quite as nerve wracking
But with Adam this year it's like.. well I definitely do not doubt his ABILITY one bit, but in terms of the show, everything's still so up in the air at this point!
And it's not helping that apparently his original song choice wasn't able to get cleared, and as of Monday he still didn't have a definite song choice. So I just hope that, whatever it is, he's had enough time to prepare!
EDIT: woops, sr4mjc totally beat me to it! haha
but yeah, I'm so nervous for him!
I mean, the GOOD thing is it seems like he's probably got a pretty expansive musical repertoire, but it still sounds like a very stressful situation. Plus, unfortunately I would think that if he had to make a really last minute decision, that might limit him to a list of songs that have FOR SURE been cleared for Idol, and therefore have probably been done many times before :/

Let's hope that doesn't affect his nerves, he seemed pretty confident before this happened. I can't say I'm disappointed he won't be singing Celine or Mariah though
He should just say F it and sing some Sebastian Bach. :)

Either people are going to LOVE this Nick/Norman guy or they are going to think he is annoying and not vote.
Can't wait to see what happens with him!
