"I won't miss Scott. That elimination was way over due. I will, however, miss his hot brother in the audience..."
"Seriously. The brother definitely got all the looks in that family. "
And I am sure that means SO much to THAT family.

I just read on ew.com that their mentor for this week's theme, songs from movies, will be Quentin Tarantino. What will he and Adam Lambert come up with?

Quentin Tarantino!? Seriously? That is ridiculous. How is he qualified to musically mentor them?
I'm confused about the boy in the scarf. Is that Adam's brother?

I can't be 100 percent certain, but wasn't Quentin Tarantino a guest judge on the show years ago? Maybe season 2 or 3, back when the guest judge actually sat on the panel with Simon, Paula and Randy?
Or, am I dreaming? :)

Posted: 4/10/09 at 10:44amyeah, season 3. When they had the guest judges every week. I don't get it. I think he was really nice to everyone.

Posted: 4/10/09 at 10:48amKellie's first album sold over 700,000 copies and I think it may have even outsold Taylor Hicks, who remains the worst selling AI winner. She's suffering something of a sophomore slump, though...the second CD has sold around 170,000.

I am enjoying Kellie Pickler's second album but I wasn't even aware that she had a second one out until about a week and half ago. It's been out since last September. That's 8 months! Marketing really dropped the ball because it's actually pretty good.

Posted: 4/10/09 at 12:26pmWell, now that Kellie is on tour with the Queen- Taylor Swift- I'm sure she could sell more "albums".
re: AMERICAN IDOL#1510
Posted: 4/10/09 at 12:41pmI can't stand Taylor Swift. I've never heard her have a good live performance. She's terrible singer. I like her first album but when I heard live performance after live performance of her sounding busted I quickly lost interest.
re: AMERICAN IDOL#1511
Posted: 4/10/09 at 12:59pmTotally with you Tom. That's why I COULD NOT believe that she won "Best Female Vocalist" at the CMA awards! She really cannot sing and holds no candle to Carrie Underwood or anyone else who was nominated in that category! Dick Clark must have produced that awards show!
re: AMERICAN IDOL#1512
Posted: 4/10/09 at 5:19pmYeahh, Taylor Swift cannot sing live for the life of her haha. Girl has no pitch control! BUT I do actually quite enjoy her music. I listen to Love Story all the time- it's very catchy. And a lot of her other music is very pretty/fun too. Lyrically it's about pining over boys, but still, they're good songs! Definitely wouldn't pay to see her LIVE though haha

Posted: 4/11/09 at 2:26pmA little of topic--- Does anyone have an in person autograph from Adam? I think he may have signed my Wicked playbill, but I am not sure.

^Nope, but on his main AI Contestant page it has his signature
https://www.americanidol.com/contestants/season_8/adam_lambert/
It's CRAZY neat and easy to read. Jeez. I actually had to look at some of the other contestant pages to see if it was his actually signature or if it was just a font for the site, but it's definitely his signature because all the others' are clearly signatures and messier
(then again, the in person autograph might be different since he was probably in much more of a rush signing at the stage door or whatever)

ok, thanks.
the signature on my playbill is scribble. I can pick out an A and an L. He was the only one in the cast with those initials, but it just not really look like his name.
re: AMERICAN IDOL#1516
Posted: 4/11/09 at 3:22pmI don't see his signature on that link, but for something like the American Idol website, he would probably take care to make it neat, which he might not have necessarily done at the stage door.

I don't see his signature on that link
It's just the part that's his name :) haha. I really figured it might just be signature-looking text at first, but if you look at the other contestants' pages, they're definitely signatures.
But yeah, it's very possible that his regular signature might be a lot messier, so it would be hard to know
And yes, Mad World= <33 SO amazing. And the studio recording is equally as stunning!
(Oh and can I just say that I LOVE he and his dad for that intro
teehee "I just loved playing dressing up...not soccer". Never would have guessed, dear, never would have guessed :P)

re: AMERICAN IDOL#1522
Posted: 4/14/09 at 8:23pmCan we just cut to the finale and give Adam the title? Seriously. We all know that's the way it's going.

This is a good show so far! I've liked everyone. Anoop REALLY impressed me. He sounded beautiful! I, of course, LOVED Adam. What a ROCK STAR!!!!! Lets see if the show continues to be a good one....
EDIT: I spoke too soon. Matt was a disaster.

Can Adam just go out and be a huge rock star already?? He so does not even NEED American Idol anymore
But yeah, I thought Anoop sounded wonderful tonight! Allison sounded really pretty at FIRST, but was I the only one who heard a lot of pitchiness during certain parts? O-o it was just not so great for me. And Matt was.. not good. oy
