The producers can't wait to play up the Good vs Evil, Angel vs Devil, Light vs Dark angle; with Good/Angel/Light winning, of course.


Definitely not denying that the producers are pushing for that, but I just find that whole notion so funny, because there really isn't anything remotely "dark" about Adam personality wise :P He seems like a complete sweetheart, and very bubbly and outgoing!


And Danny.. seems like kind of a douche haha (I shouldn't say that, I'm sure he's a perfectly nice guy. But he comes across douchey on the show)


So yeah, I think the producers are PUSHING for that, but it doesn't exactly work in reality

I don't need a life that's normal. That's way too far away. But something next to normal would be okay. Something next to normal is what I'd like to try. Close enough to normal to get by.

I'm speaking strictly from a performimg standpoint. Adam is the edgy bad boy and Danny is the angelic choir boy. And that's the angle that they're going to play up. As StockardFan says... guess we'll just have to wait and see. Maybe Kris will surprise everyone and take home the gold. I would much rather see him win over Danny. And he's also a good church going boy. He just doesn't have the tragic backstory going for him. Watch how the judges tear Kris a new one this week to try to sway the votes away from him. It isn't going to matter how well he does... they're going to find something not to like about his performances; especially Simon. I can gurantee that at some point you're going to hear Simon say... "I think you just might be in trouble this week", or something to that effect.

I think they'll try to throw him under the bus as well. Poor guy can't catch a break.

I just can't figure out WHY they would want Danny to win. He's as unmarketable as Taylor Hicks. And I can't imagine his voice lasting for an entire concert tour.

^I know, it's kind of ridiculous. I mean, Either way as long as Adam's in the finale they're going to have that "bad boy" v. "angelic Church boy" thing going. So it's not like that have to be pimping Danny at this point!

And Kris is the more marketable, the more likable, and the freaking BETTER of the two!! haha. So why keep going for Danny? Go for Kris! He's your wholesome Church going All American boy too, except he actually has the talent to back up a 2nd place finish as well :P
