re: AMERICAN IDOL#2326
Posted: 5/19/09 at 8:40pmAgain, I think they both did awesome.....both staying true to themselves and their own style.

Darn it Kris, why do you have to be so gosh darn likable AND awesome??? haha
It's making me so nervous just because I feel like Adam's was one of his more polarizing performances (I loved it a ton, but I think there will be some people who hated it), and Kris is very non polarizing with a style that so many people can get into
But.. come on America, make the right choice. In the end this IS a SINGING competition! :)
Kris will definitely be one of my favorite runner ups ever though <3

The coronation songs are always cheesy, danmag.
I honestly thought Adam wasn't going to do well with a pop song, and I don't think he was fantastic on that. I think Kris will do much better and probably get some votes.
re: AMERICAN IDOL#2330
Posted: 5/19/09 at 8:49pmWhat the hell was Simon talking about? The original "What's Going On" is like a group of guys got into a recording studio and made that song. Even in the beginning, people are talking.
re: AMERICAN IDOL#2331
Posted: 5/19/09 at 8:50pmSeriously, though. Hurricanes?
re: AMERICAN IDOL#2332
Posted: 5/19/09 at 8:50pmI have hated EVERY SINGLE winners song AI has ever had. These f***ing rainbows and mountains and me-time lyrics..UGH!!
re: AMERICAN IDOL#2333
Posted: 5/19/09 at 8:51pmThat was SUCH a dumb song. And Randy was right.....it was wee bit pitchy at parts. Still a good job though.
re: AMERICAN IDOL#2334
Posted: 5/19/09 at 8:52pmIs it bad I didn't pay attention to the song? I just listened to him singing, but not the words... oops!
re: AMERICAN IDOL#2336
Posted: 5/19/09 at 8:54pmDid Kris just mess up the words?
re: AMERICAN IDOL#2337
Posted: 5/19/09 at 8:54pmOUCH! my ears! Seriously, I like Kris, but what is this?!
re: AMERICAN IDOL#2338

Yikes.
Not so good.

Kris is really reaching into his upper range for this song.
He looks so cute in that outfit!
re: AMERICAN IDOL#2340
Posted: 5/19/09 at 8:56pmAnd here are the judges' "Great job but you're not winning" comments.
re: AMERICAN IDOL#2341
Posted: 5/19/09 at 8:58pmSecond place might be the better deal here, in which you'd still get a record deal but wouldn't have to record that insipid song written by a random inspirational words generator.

LOL Calvin!!
And I think you're right, Clever.
re: AMERICAN IDOL#2344
Posted: 5/19/09 at 9:02pmI heard on the radio this morning that those two last songs were either written or co-written by Kara. Don't know if it's true.

Posted: 5/19/09 at 9:04pmYes, they were co-written by Kara.
re: AMERICAN IDOL#2346
Posted: 5/19/09 at 9:08pmI think Kris got screwed on that song. It was written WAY too high for him. Both deserve to win and I am rooting for both!

Posted: 5/19/09 at 9:21pmI really don't know what the hype is around Kris. Sure he has a great voice, but there is nothing unique about it at all. I have heard that voice hundreds of times before. I have never heard a voice like Adam's before. I really think that Adam should and will win.

Guys, seriously, if you like Adam, PLEEEEASE vote for him! He's behind on Dial Idol
Only by just a little bit, but still.
He needs all the votes possible!! So call your friends, have them vote, do whatever you can! :)
Not that I don't love Kris, but.. Adam deserves this
