yep.
what is your intent by posting this? Do any of us care what political party you support, even if it is the party of death, and the rich, and the party trying to write discrimination into the US Constitution.
Frankly this sort of post your second day could give you a reputation that you probably don't want.
We always suggest newbies lurk for a bit before they post........this post is a good example why, in my opinion

Use the search function.
Main board.
Type in "Republicans" for "All Fields" and then posted by "Parks".
I made a thread about this a long time ago--and it got several responses. I've changed political views since then.

Why would anyone with a brain choose to be a Republican? Unless you are wealthy, it doesn't make any sense to support them or their policies.
not only are you the only republican actor, but you are the only republican involoved in theatre at any level and thus you carry the burden of representing all republicans to everyone you meet or work with. i suggest wearing a button that says "gop's ok with me!" but whatever you do, be sure to do it right. if you f*** things up for the rest of us republicans we will hunt you down, brand you with a big donkey on your back and feed you to the scores of hungry komodo dragons that we keep in the secret gop dungeons below the minskoff.
or unless you don't like the idea of seeing yer wife in a burqa.

Yes--we Dems want to see our women in burqas. You figured us out. Now one who is not rich or a religious nut being a Republican makes sense! Thanks for clearing that up.

Other than Bruce Willis, Charleton Heston, Patricia Heaton, James Woods, Bo Derek, Danny Aiello, Chuck Norris, Rick Schroeder, Congressman Fred "Gopher" Grandy, Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger and former governor and President Ronald Reagan, yep.
i know, shoot. as soon as someone says they're a republican, someone's always all, "only people without brains are republicans...or rich people."

That list looks like a list of bad actors. Does that mean all Republican actors are bad actors?

I remember my first few posts here I was trying to support Republicans. Needless to say that didn't go so well. If I could do it over again I would have skipped that little episode.
Don't forget Pat Sajak...
I mean he is an actor, right? After all no one could really be that devoid of personality. He's got to be acting.

Don't go off and demean my acting abilities because of a political stance.
James Reynods? Abe from Days Of Our Lives? I feel crushed and betrayed.
But I thought Delta Burke has said she's pretty much apolitical, despite her hubby's run-ins with Linda Bloodworth-Thomason.
(funny that half of the cast of one of the most liberally-charged sitcoms in recent history are considered Republicans)
Why am I most upset about Cheryl Ladd?
It should also be added that a lot of those folks are considered socially liberal, at least when it comes to gay issues.
But are in the top 2% that actually benefit from Republican tax cuts.

Thats how I am. Because you don't hang around theatre people for 6 years and not pick up a thing or two...like respect for gay america or the rights of a woman to choose to have an abortion.
I also believe the environment is going down the tubes, and I believe that we could be doing more for human rights in this country. So...on those issues I'm more moderate/liberal.

Will do papa.
Ah see Calvin, that is when one may be a Republican, but it doesn't necessarily mean that they agree with EVERYTHING that the Republican party supports. So not all republicans are gay-hating, war-supporting people. So yeah. I'm through with political talk mainly because I suck at it.
