Well, for one thing, he's better than the alternative.
For another thing, there's the way he's handling Iraq. Now, many people tend to think that they are at the brink of a civil war. I disagree. The more the terrorists target unarmed civilans, the more the terrorists look bad. This works against their cause, thankfully. And think of it this way: No more Saddam Hussein.

He failed to display leadership after 9/11.
He turned the Republican Party into the party of borrow-and-spend and turned Clinton's surplus into a deficit.
He lied about the reasons to go to war.
He botched the war.
He failed to display leadership after Hurricane Katrina.
He outed a CIA agent and jeopardized national security for reasons of petty political revenge.
