No, he's not. People try this same argument with Iraq. You point out how badly things are going, and the response is: "So, you're saying the Iraqi people were better off under Saddam?"

If asked to choose between being mauled to death by a bear or gnawed to death by 20 badgers, frankly, I'd prefer the option to say, "Neither."

Everyone has the right to an opinion. There are some posters on this board who are Republicans, and they have facts and solid reasoning why they hold the beliefs they do. I may disagree with their views, but I respect their right to disagree with me.

I love how people claim Bush "KNEW" there were no WMD's, as if they can read his mind. Reality check: We weren't the only country whos faulty intelligence said there were WMD'S. And that's all I have to say about that.

I'm the one saying Bush and Cheney KNEW there were no WMDs in Iraq. They knew that the so-called "faulty" intelligence was simply what they had cooked up to justify the war. The "Niger forgeries," "follow the yellowcake road"...it all seems the stuff of "wing-nut conspiracy theories" now, but so did the "plumbers of Watergate" until the Congressional hearings began. And they will, come November. (Diebold be damned.)

Yes, Bush and Cheney KNEW that the REAL intelligence said that there were NO WMDs--Saddam had been bluffing. No WMDs had secretly been moved to Syria or Russia. They were figments of the neocons' imaginations.

For these lies, and all the others like them, Bush and Cheney deserve what comes to them with a Democratic Congress.

Supporters of Bush should read FreeRepublic every day. This is the base, folks. These are the ones he panders too. All evidence points that the man himself is not homophobic and has little problems with gay people -- he's just willing to exploit the hatred of the Freeper troglodytes to score political points.

This man has done so much wrong that I don't know where to begin! I'm hoping someone implicates him and Cheney in the CIA outing, because we all know he knew and he said himself that if anyone in his administration was involved in the outing of the CIA agent that they would be asked to step down immediately. Umm Waiting for Bush and Cheney to step down any day now...

Not only that, but the fact that all his tax cuts go to help the wealthiest 1% and big coorporations while the rest of us are left suffering.

The lying of the war, even going so far as to say that the war would be a GOOD thing and help lower gas prices (someone in his administration actually said that) and that it wouldn't cost more than I wanna say they estimated 20billion, it's at 300billion and growing.

Not only that but it's only a matter of time before Roe vs Wade gets overturned and gays are treated even more like 2nd class citizens and get pretty much every right taken away from them.

His approval rating is down to 32-33% and fastly declining. I don't understand how even 32% can approve of him now after everything that's happened? Do they not watch anything but Fox News?

And also look at his "no child left behind" act which is severely underfunded and the education system in general is underfunded. If we can't even take care of our children what can we do?

Don't even get me started on lying about WMD even after hearing from a multitude of sources they still lied us into war. If Congrass had all the facts and knew what the war was TRULY about they never would've agreed to it.

I firmly believe he will be remembered as being the worst president in history and whoever gets elected in 2008 has some major cleaning up to do!

Lets start it off by voting democrat for congress this election season. We need to take back at least one of the houses so we can get an investigation going on him. The fact that they haven't even started investigating him is a travesty! This should've been done a long time ago and it shouldn't take a majority of democrats to get it done. Republicans should see what this man is doing as well, but yet they refuse to stop it.

So look at all Bush has done and Clinton got impeached for getting oral sex??? *scratches head* I'd take a guy that's doing well in running our country but has an affair over a guy that's faithful and runs our country into the ground any day!
