re: American Idol

Oh my GOD, these two girls are dreadful. Wouldn't you think their family would have been honest with them and saved themself the trip? People continually surprise me....

And am I the only one that thinks simon is REALLY hot?

"At the opening night party, they had clowns on stilts, jugglers, a chocolate fountain, popcorn, hot dogs. [My son] looked at me like I had been holding back. Like, 'This is what you do?' I had to tell him, 'No, no, darling. Opening nights don't usually look like this.' It's usually a dark bar with a bottle of vodka." ?Chitty Chitty Bang Bang's Jan Maxwell plus i proudly share the title of the shortest member over the age of 10 with wickedrentq!

Haha that might have been a first! I felt bad for them, but they really were wretched. I continually lust for Simon.

re: American Idol

She needs lessons, but she definitely has the goods! Just some fine tuning is needed.
"The Spectacle has, indeed, an emotional attraction of its own, but, of all the parts, it is the least artistic, and connected least with the art of poetry. For the power of Tragedy, we may be sure, is felt even apart from representation and actors. Besides, the production of spectacular effects depends more on the art of the stage machinist than on that of the poet."

re: American Idol

She was definitely something - I loved her look. She was decent, but wrong for IDOL and definitely needs some major training. Not bad considering that she just started singing.

Ha. That last segment was funny, I would be one of those people to fake not getting in (though I wouldn't get in anyway!). It was such a "Friends" moment.
