re: American Idol Predictions

Elliott was pretty good.

re: American Idol Predictions

OK, that whole bit with Ryan taking Mandisa's shoes off for her was painfully unfunny.

re: American Idol Predictions

Mandisa wasn't as good as she has been in previous weeks, but she's still easily the best performance so far tonight.

Oh, f**k, is Bucky singing "Superstition?" I was really hoping Chris would sing that re: American Idol Predictions

Just be thankful that the stylists apparently hosed him down.

re: American Idol Predictions

I'm not sure what's worse: Bucky's performance, or his perm.

re: American Idol Predictions

I'm realize that I'm not going too far out on a limb predicting it, but the two best performances of the evening will be by Paris and Chris.

re: American Idol Predictions

Melissa is totally mangling the lyrics, and RJ Helton sang this about a million times better in season 1.

re: American Idol Predictions

Paula must be sharing whatever she's on with Randy and Simon. Melissa mangles the lyrics and Simon says that it's her best performance so far. Huh?

Lisa was good, not great, but sadly that's enough to put her towards the top of tonight's performances.

re: American Idol Predictions

And for some reason, Mandisa is my least favorite. She always sounds so generic to me. Not sure why. None of them stand out yet.

re: American Idol Predictions

OK, in addition to not being able to sing, Kevin is waaaay too young to be singing "Part-Time Lover." Ick.

re: American Idol Predictions

He sounds so nervous.

I'm with you, vb, I think Mandisa sounds like about 20 other R&B singers out there already.
Finish each day and be done with it. You have done what you could. Some blunders and absurdities no doubt crept in; forget them as soon as you can. Tomorrow is a new day; begin it well and serenely and with too high a spirit to be enbered with your old nonsense. ~ Emerson

re: American Idol Predictions

He seems so arrogant, and for no visible or audible reason. He has to go.
