re: American Idol Predictions

duroc and Doodle...I usually always agree with Simon..even if it's someone I like...he really is the most honest...the only one I disagreed with him on last night was Chris...and what is sad is..I WAS a Chris fan.

Last night...Katharine and Taylor did it for me...they should be the final 2...but it's never who I want anyway...well except the 1st year..I was a BIG Clarkson fan. re: American Idol Predictions

re: American Idol Predictions

my favorite Simon moment last night was when he asked Bucky what was up with the Jessica Simpson hair. It was spot on!

re: American Idol Predictions

How about Ryan's comment about.."do you think they're extensions?"..Simon had no clue what he meant.

doodle..did you see when Simon was on the Jay Leno show? Jay put together a clip of how Ryan just kind of touches the girls arms, but is hugging all the guys....Simon was on the floor...laughing that is.

re: American Idol Predictions

Paris was far from the best. She only has a strong middle range and her lower range and upper range are virtually non existant, and it shows. She overshoots every note she sings, and she's too dramatic. At this point I'm irritated with her and I was trying very hard not to be. It bothers me that the judges refuse to give her any real criticism just because she has a famous grandmommy and a unique voice. Simon would have kicked any other performer's ass for being as off pitch as she is almost all the time.

Don't be fooled just because she has a unique voice. She's just too young to be doing this. She's going to blow her voice and that'll be the end of that for Paris. Someone needs to tell her that her vibrato is way too wide.

I agree that Chris's limitations as a singer are masked by his choice of material (being the other unique voice in the competition--Bucky does nothing for me) and a lot of flash. I do think he's one of the better singers on the show though, sad to say.

I missed Katherine but she's usually my favorite. Of what I saw last night, good old reliable Taylor. Always gives a fun performance, usually vocally on.

I like Ace, but he's inconsistent. Lisa just can't seem to find the right songs, and at this point there just may not be any out there for her.

I'm pretty adamant about Kevin needing to go. His endlessly vacant stare is grating me majorly.

To be honest, I'm watching for Ryan Seacrest. I'm still waiting for him and Simon to make out.

re: American Idol Predictions

Ace is my favorite, but I do agree that hes inconsistent. I dont know, I guess as far as girls I would have to say lisa tucker....though I dont think any of the girls are outstanding this year.

I really like Kevin, if only for the fact that he makes me giggle. His constant comments about "Keeping up his reputation as a sex symbol, and having a sexy feel to the song" are priceless re: American Idol Predictions

re: American Idol Predictions

I dont watch Leno, Boobsie...but the fact that they are actually good friends makes the whole thing alright.

I dont know why Ryan doesnt come out already...I cant imagine it would hurt his career.

and I'll say it again...Ace = Justin Guarini.

re: American Idol Predictions

Seacrest just signed a 21 million dollar contract with E! Television. Lord knows what he's making on AI. His next ten years are pretty much signed and sealed artistically as a host/personality, so yeah, unless he's thinking he's going to become a film star, there really isn't any reason for him not to come out; though he would look like an ass after publically denying it for so long...

re: American Idol Predictions

I don't care what anyone else thinks, but I love Chris. I think he's one of the better singers and he was great last night.

I want Buckey outta there. *Ducks from flying objects thrown by Buckey fans* I'm sorry but he just bugs me so much.
Yes, I'm pinay. And I'm proud of it!

re: American Idol Predictions

Wait, Bucky has fans? (Yes, I know he has to have some in order to have made it to the top 12, but seriously, who the hell are these people?)

Ahh, nice to know the Ford commercial "music videos" still have the same low-budget production values and acid-trip imagery.

re: American Idol Predictions

OK, I know Stevie wants to promote his new album and all, but why couldn't he have performed one of his many classics instead of this dull-as-hell new song?

re: American Idol Predictions

Whoa, Ace is in the bottom 3. Not that he doesn't belong there, but I expected him to get the votes even though he made my ears hurt.
