Yay! I'm on the West Coast and had to peek at this weeks results (and this way I can watch South Pacific without flipping). I might have to tune in to see Pickler get the boot. I know she has feelings but I am so happy! I don't care who wins now, I'm just happy it won't be her.

It was the right choice - I was overjoyed.
I am, however, very dismayed that Paris is once again in the bottom. She is one of the most talented singers that has ever been on American Idol - and she probably deserves to win. Why people aren't voting for her, I don't know - but she is unbelievable. What sheer emotion she puts into her songs - I adore her.
Taylor should go next week, though people will continue to vote for him just because they feel bad that he's not all there.
Elliot should go after Taylor.
The final two deserve to be Chris and Paris, with Chris being the winner. After the huge mistake of awarding Carrie Jesuswood the title last year, (when Bo clearly was better), it is my hope that Chris will win this one. He's amazing.
No matter what, Paris' record deal is as good as signed.

Don't think I agree with you on that; that comment was mean! I'm telling you....the night Taylor sings "Walking in Memphis" will be the night I cast my first vote this season. Go Taylor!

OK, first and foremost, thank GOD Pickler is gone. She is moderately talented and extremely annoying.
Second of all, I REFUSE to believe that Taylor is five years younger than me. Not just the grey; he carries himself WAY older.
Third, I have a sneaking suspicion Taylor will win the whole thing. But if you do go to the dialidol site and check the ratings for the last few weeks, he's ranked first.
I predict final two Chris and Taylor.
I believe they can do a song from any of the top ten charts. So, at least that will give them a little more of an option. I would LOVE to hear Chris sing Rock and Roll Fantasy by Bad Company for his year of birth song. That would be amazing. Plus, I'm excited to hear Elliott sing two songs! Oh that voice!
Dawn makes an extremely valid point. Here is a partial listing of the singles charts appearing in the latest issue of Billboard:
Hot 100
Hot 100 Airplay
Hot Digital Songs
Adult Top 40
Adult Contemporary
Modern Rock
Pop 100
Pop 100 Airplay
Hot Singles Sales
Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs/Airplay/Singles Sales
Rhythmic Airplay
Hot Country Songs
Hot Latin Songs
Hot Dance Club Play/Singles Sales/Airplay
And that's not even considering the possibility of someone picking a non-single from an album in the top 10 of one of the many album charts.

As long as McTits is sent packing soon, I'll be satisfied. Yeah, she's gorgeous, and yeah, she can carry a tune, but she's soulless and vapid. The pageant grins piss me off. Mandisa was much better.
I've never really been into the female Idol singers, though, except for Frenchie and Vanessa Olivarez. Bo was my Idol icon.
Elliot's vice is gorgeous but he lacks a certain spark. However, he's got a sweetness and humility about him that I really appreciate. Chris is HOT and talented, but he's a one-trick pony (and the overdone vibrato gets to me). Taylor is awesome, has a voice I love and is bursting with charisma, but he puts a lot of people off. I hope it comes down to one of the boys, though.
I only like Paris at times. Billie Holiday singing Paris...great! Beyonce @ss shaking Paris and Barbra Streisand singing Paris...NAY. She's a little too...precious or something. I don't know.
This season is a let-down for me overall.
