I thought Kat was good tonight. I really think the judges don't want her in the finals. Elliot bores me and I can't stand watching Taylor he really looks manic when he performs. Kat showed 3 complete different styles. She can sing anything as compared to the others. She needs to be in the finals.

Remeber "scooter-girl" from season...three...I think? When she gave an interview that when she didn't make it through Hollywood, she was offered to be Maurine in RENT on Broadway, but apparently the contracts for AI go into effect at Hollywood, so for a year, she was bound. Unfortunate, I liked her.

I so remember "scooter girl" she had that catchy little song she put together!
I want the top two to be Elliot and Taylor. I like Kat but, She's kind of blah for me. She has a good voice, but between her and Elliot she's going home.
I still cant really stand taylor, I tought he was having seizure(sp) at the end of his third song, but he seems to be the favorite so he's going to be in the Final 2.
~EM~
If I had to grade them, I'd give Elliot a good solid "B" because all of his songs were good...not great, but good.
Kat would probably get a B- or C+, but her very good performance of "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" and the fact that Clive Davis screwed her over with his song choice curves her grade up a bit.
Taylor, to me, last night should've gotten a D. Simon said it best with "Dancing in the Dark," he paled in comparison to the original and he stole the entire schtick from the music video right down to pulling Paula up to dance. I thought "You Are So Beautiful" was plain boring. For a guy who's supposed to have a whole Joe Cocker-vibe, he really, really wasn't good on that song. And his last song I thought was the best of the three, but you can tell he's more about playing up the "Soul Patrol" angle than actually singing.
In my opinion after last night's performances, the final two should be Elliot and Kat, but sadly, Taylor and The Soul Patrol will push through and Elliot will probably sneak in. But just like Chris last week, Elliot left the door open a little for Kat, so I won't be shocked to see either one of them go. Taylor being voted off would be the real shocker.
There was something on the news about them last night, but I didn't see it. I did hear something on the radio today, that it has to do with the busy signals. I guess they track them. I have no clue how. They've been pretty accurate, if I recall correctly.

I'm hoping for Elliot and Kat, but I think it will be Taylor and Kat. I just don't think Elliot has the fanbase, but you never know.
I think Randy and Paula made it clear last night that they don't want Kat in the finals.
So many points to touch on:
Chris: Wouldn't throw him out of bed unless I wanted to f&*& him on the floor!
Elliott: By far the best. But I think he's been too "under the radar" and he just won't make it past today. Dialidol has been pretty accurate..they even picked Chris last week, which is why I wasn't shocked by the vote. But like Simon said, at least his mama is proud! He's a nice boy. And personally, I think he's kind of cute and his teeth arent that bad! I hate pretty boys.
Kat: I don't know how people can tell she thinks she's better than everyone. I love how people think they know contestants based on the 90 minutes a week they are on television. I think Katharine is beautiful and talented, but she doesn't thrill me anymore. Although I have to say her "Rainbow" was lovely and probably the best individual performance last night.
Taylor: I just can't say much. Simon has been dead-on right about him from the start. When he pulled Paula up on stage a'la Courtney Cox, I just about threw up. So ridiculous. And if I hear one more "wooo! Soul Patrol"...well, you know. I think he has a decent enough voice, but his whole act is just tiresome.
So, if dialidol is right and Elliott leaves tonight, no need to watch the finale. Actually, no need either way as Taylor seemingly has it wrapped up.
Very disappointing season.
And once again Katherine smiled all the way through a song who's lyrics are "I ain't got nothing but the BLUES". Get a clue, Missy. Six Flags has auditions next week!
Her Rainbow was painful. I was flabbergasted the judges loved it so. If you are going to use an ear piece to help you stay on pitch during an a cappella intro (which I might add didn't seem to help) LEAVE IT ALONE! Don't pull it out when you are done with it as if to say, 'Thank God I can take this crutch out now.'
I thought I was the only one around here that didn't like her Rainbow.

For all the Taylor Hicks fans. Have fun.

The Soul Patrol is catamount to Opus Dei. No one really admits to voting for Taylor except the people at Vote for the Worst and people complain about how boring his whole act has become, but yet the son of a gun gets the most votes every week. Either he has one devoted following or there are a lot of closeted Soul Patrolers out there. It reminds me of an old Eddie Murphy act where he talked about people voting for Jesse Jackson for president as a goof because they thought for sure he wouldn't win. Then the next morning they all wake up and find out he won and they're like, "HE WON!?!?!?!" I have a feeling that may be the reaction when the Soul Patrol finally wins.
It's interesting that the voting (according to dialidol) is SO close with Taylor ahead by 2 percent...that VoteFortheWorst.com is actually having an impact here.
One could argue that the true finalists would've actually been Kat and Elliot.
just sayin.
Sueleen, lots of people sing I Aint Got Nothin But the Blues in an upbeat joking style. Including Ella. It was just hard to tell behind those glasses.
Only if she hadnt "learned the truth.":)
She didnt smile during "over the rainbow."
I truly do not care one way or another...just my opinions. Her intonation has been off sometimes, but not consistantly and certainly not as much as Chris' was.
