Jane I agree with you to a point. I wouldn't vote for Elliot on that criteria alone. If that were the case that stupid little Keven and dumb Pickler girl would still be in it. But Elliot has the passion to sing, not be a star. I get the feeling Katherine and Taylor are more interested in fame.
heh...
I was writing a whole who the hell cares and everyone get a life rant when I realized I was writing my 7th opinion of the day in a stinkin message board!
I feel so sad for me.
I'm sure I'm not the first, Damie...we are in big company, tho
I think of you as Damie, because that's what Father Karras' mommy calls him. Is that okay?
Exorcist reference.
Oh, Sue! That was to be a surprise!

"Chris: Wouldn't throw him out of bed unless I wanted to f&*& him on the floor"
ROFL!!!!!!!!!! So true!
The show last night really just didn't hold my interest without Chris. He was far and away the best down the stretch.
Kat annoys me no end. She definitely has the "Stepford Singer" thing going on...and she oversings virtually every piece. Her "Over the Rainbow" was the best I've heard her so far, but I still think she deserved to go home last week.
Taylor and Elliot are okay, and I think they both have unique qualities in their vocals (and personalities) that would make them "interesting" to promote as American Idols (and to be honest, they both probably need the title more than Chris did). But it was over for me last week.
American Idol has turned into a big soap opera and popularity contest. We've got to have villians and heroes and backstories so that people want to watch every week. It's like pro wrestling with microphones and vocal chords! Even Randy, who every year talks about it being a "singing competition," hasn't intoned that mantra at all this year. Just think about the rabid obsession it creates with fans; much like a lot of people with their favorite soaps.
Not just that...it's a "reality" show on Fox!
So real!
twit?
you can use stronger language than that!
I just want someone to show the flask she must have under the table.
doodle...I'm trying to be a little nice. I hope this is her last season...Randy could go too. Simon is the only truthful one and when he's wrong after reviewing the tapes he admits it. Ryan can go too....so over him. Whatever happened to the guy who co-hosted it with him the 1st season?
Brian Dunkleman is, I believe, living in his car.
Paula just signed a contract for a few more years...that is why she's high all the time!
You are right, Boobsie, Simon speaks the truth more often than not, tho his delivery needs work.
If I hear the word karaoke one more time!
