My mom's co-workers love Blake (and in a way, so do I). Although I think his last performance was so-so...but he'll do better next week.
It's a good thing the judges don't comment on the guest's performance..."Diana, that was all over the place. Very pitchy, all glitz and no vocal talent. This is a SINGING competition, if I heard that on the radio without all the bells and whistles of your overly made up and costumed self, I would turn the dial before the first phrase was complete. A complete and utter MESS!"
Hah, that's what I said to my mom as we were watching that night. I think you captured Simon's inner thoughts perfectly.
You know what was better? The whole 'closet' spat between Ryan and Simon... they're quite adorable. :)
And I loved how the 'wail' comment completely went over Sanjaya's head. His facial reaction was priceless.

Really, SNL? I think tonight's show is the best, by far. And we haven't even heard from Melinda yet.

I think the performances have been really exciting, but mostly everyone has had a few hiccups in their performances here and there, like vocal problems, etc.
Jordin was SOLID.
