^^ lol
"Piper, he pressured her to say why the song made her so emotional, and she very obviously didn't want to answer, but he still felt the need to tell everyone she was singing it "about someone." Fortunately he didn't say who. She was not pleased."
thanks...he gets more and more smarmy all the time
Didi might not have been the best of the night but I don't see why people are giving her so much flack D: I might cry if she leaves
Oh, Piano.......Didi sucked honey. Sorry.
And Andrew may sing well, but he is not the whole deal. You need more than just a good voice to have longevity. And he's been so inconsistent. I'd be fine if he went tonight too.
The only ones I like are Lee and Crystal. And sort of Casey, but part of that is just that he's so adorable and seems so nice. Plus he plays a great gi-tar.
I agree with your picks, Stock. Anyone could go home tonight except for them, as far as I'm concerned.
I agree too overall. they are the standouts. but i still love garcia's voice. personal preferance, probably because he reminds me of jesse cook as i said before.
I guess for me Stockard Fan, I don't see Andy as inconsistant. His voice is the same and i don't think i have ever heard him off key, however,i have not watched every show. Sometimes I get stuck in the days when all that was needed was a good voice to get a record deal and people listened for that reason. (i was a young teen when video killed the radio star came out, lol) there are plenty of artists i still listen too that do not have charisma or are not so pretty, but i love their voices. i know even decades ago a package was needed. but for radio air play not everyone was this perfect, perky, manufactured over the top stuff. one example, Kei$ha (sp?) this teen is singing about drinking jack and coke and flipping the bird to her parents and being disrespectful and yet it's okay and she has a hit. she can't sing but is pretty...it bugs me.
- i would like to see Katie go, primarily because i don't think she should not have been in the top 12 over lilly anyway and has not shown why she should be.
Garcia needs to go home . Didi will probably go right before him. Lee and Krystal are the only ones worth watching. WHen is disco night?
After swearing I wouldn't watch again this season, I tuned in after a bottle of cheap wine.
Simon seems to have a bubble over his head that says "This will be over soon...this will be over soon...This will allll be over soon...just get through it, baby..."
Lee is kind of it. And Krystal. The rest are painful at times.
I don't care the he "pressured" her, I just hate that they kept it dragging...move along now! Like Crystal but I actually didn't like what she was wearing. I agreed with Simon, she shouldn't change that drastically, we don't want her to be the next Clay Aiken make over.
wow, how did Didi even make it to the top 24. her vocals must have been strong at one point? i think i vaguely remember liking her in audtions. i think she had to go (but as many of you have said it could have been many)
at least Tim was not an original pick.
Ugh, I loved Didi. I think she had some not so great moments, but some really lovely ones as well. I think this show wasn't exactly the right path for her...she's a little more the indie/folky singer-songwriter type, and this show's a lot more about big notes. I just LOVE the tone of her voice. That's too bad...I really think Tim should have gone.
i have not watched enough. but i do remember feeling the same about her in the beginning, and she is absolutely stunning. i didn't even mind her Carol King as much as they lambasted her for it.
that song really let her down. out of the two, you are right tim should probably have gone.
Twitter just exploded with people saying they are not going to watch it anymore after tonight's results.
yeah.. you can add me to that list. Legit, I had no one I looked forward to watching except for Didi
Oh they'll still watch it. Maybe they'll skip one week in protest, but they'll be back.
Me too, I'm really dissapointed, she was very authentiic and had a really nice voice.
I hated the backstage cam from last night. Boo.
I gotta admit I kinda love Tim hanging in there - only bc they are making such a big deal about - with all the 'why are u smiling' and all that - it feels like a nice jab to the producers who clearly have jumped the shark with this season's selections based more on casting/ back story than talent.
Oh, and since they are asking us to draw aside-by-side comparison of Ruben and Mike - I prefer Ruben - an all fronts - personality & voice.
I prefer Ruben - an all fronts - personality & voice.
although Mike has a great voice, i agree on the personality. their voices are different imo. there is something about mike i find cocky.
This season is a disaster. I wonder if Tim could make it all the way to top 4. Vote for the Worst is having a field day with this one, I bet.
First Ryan badgers Didi, then he asks Michael what Ruben should be doing in the gym to lose weight. He sure turned up the douche-o-meter to 11 this week.
Big Mike doesn't look anymore fit than Ruben.
He may be a personal trainer but he doesn't look all that fit with his belly hanging over the waist of his pants. He might have muscles but he has layers of fat laying on top of them.

I haven't been watching "Idol" lately but I have NO desire to see it next week. Adam Lambert is going to be the mentor and he will perform on the results show April 13. Why would they bring him back after all the controversy he's caused? I don't even think he will give great advice to the contestants.
Also, like someone commented on the article it looks like Diana Degarmo will be the only runner-up who was not invitied back to perform on a results show. It must suck to be her.

Because of all the controversy he's caused.
Does anyone ever listen to the Idol recaps on Cosmo radio? They're usually hilarious.
