^there seemed to be more (at least elsewhere) how awful it was that they had cyrus. i think this is great. people want to see adam - i don't think it's a bad move at all.
- nice to see crystal go first. she just can sing the **** out of anything. she is never off...ever. i don't think she could be.
Crystal's guitar!! OMG I love it! I can't help but say this again - she doesn't belong in this amateur contest.
HAHAHA Wendilin.......that is going to be hilarious!!!!
Crystal was AWESOME!!!
I felt the same way in the past Jane. One person for sure was Melinda. she was a session back ground singer if I am not mistaken and she never ever faultered.
I remember Melinda. She sure was good.
I know I am pretty much the only Andrew fan on here, but...seriously the judges really confuse me and contradict themselves.
Randy - that was in NO WAY a Karaoke performance of an Elvis song. He did not imitate Elvis and he changed it.
Ellen - Agree
Kara- just shut up
Simon - you are right it was "unpredictable" which is usually what you want, no? lol
How can I adore Ellen so much on her show but I can't stand her on here....it makes me a little sad.
I always thought Tim had confidance and I think he actually took Adam's advice not the judges. Unless it is about song choice.
It was more about the arrangement I think, not necessarily the voice?? or is it just me
Lee was fabulous!
Aaron is bringing it tonight also!
Cinnabon is usually so damn pitchy. It was nice to see her sound better tonight.
^ agreed.
last week Mike had the fewest votes, so if he does this week. it will be him and Andrew or him and Siobhan...oh or Katie.
I don't think Shioban chose the right song or did a very good job with it.......but, dang it - I just really, really like her!
she sure told Simon!
meh to Mike. it was lovely i suppose, but i don't need to hear all of that trilling. yet...one of my fave songs.
i really wish Lilly had made it through. i think this show is missing her originality and quirk. what a shame.
Jane, I agree and I'm glad she kept her composure and didn't get all emotional over the criticism.

It's really quite a sad state of affairs when the only REALLY interesting thing about Idol is last season's contestant's guest performance! hahaa
Granted I think there are going to be people who thought Adam's performance was horrible, but I thought it was awesome :P And at least it was SOMETHING! This season has been soooooo boring, at least he came in and did something no one else had done!
Aaanyway, I was surprised that I was actually kind of sad to see Katie go. I mean, I still don't think she's ever been GREAT by any means, but she was getting better! She gave a pretty good performance this week. Aaron deserved to go over her, for sure.
I loved Adam's performance. His voice sounded beautiful.
I thought Adam was great! And he was a great mentor Tuesday. I have no problem with the two that went home tonight.
Me neither. I have to say now I do agree about Andy. I really heard his rough vocals. i didn't hear it so much before and thought he was more original. I will not however retract my feelings on Casey. It is either too much vibrato or just shaking, but his voice is not strong for me at all. i hate hearing something i can say "baaa baaaaaa" to. I am not alone, at least in my house. but- i like HIM though. It wouldn't have bothered me if Mike or Casey had gone either. Katie should have been gone long ago...as in before top 12.
My 6 year old son likes Casey because he thinks he's cool. I guess it's the electric guitar and long hair.
i just read an article on Ryan's weirdness on Tuesday's and Wednesday's shows
saying he was dancing with Michael Starver. Michael wasn't even there, it was Lee's friend. how would we know? we couldn't see it. then his fall flat joke aboaut Brian Dunkleman along with the tongue comment to Adam. i just think he is getting way comfortable and loves his own non comedy or he was on something.
Adam was a great mentor. I didn't like his performance very much but he sounded good.
