Posted: 4/21/10 at 10:33amCinnabon was HORRIBLE! How do people think she can sing?? She's obviously tone deaf and it just baffles me how she's still on that show. While Tim isn't great by any stretch of the imagination, with the right music he can sound good, whereas she just sounds like she's strangling a cat.

They may keep Siobahn on because there's not enough girls!
I thought Tim and that little guy, I forget his name, were boring as hell and should go.
That little guy - I don't know what's wrong with me, but the judges think he has a great voice and could be a professional. I think he has a weak voice, and I don't like the sound of it!

I think the bottom three tonight will be Mike, Cinnabon and Tim. Tim's time is limited but I think he still might have another week or two.
Lee was brilliant last night, though.

Casey will do something after, but he is not original and he is not that great.
Bowersox is phenomenal. Ever since seeing her at the audition (like Carrie Underwood) she was the winner. Even in Simon's book and in interviews he knew Carrie was going to win from the audition stage. (at the very least picked her as number one) I think the same of Crystal. She is solid and is a different genre.. she is blues, with folk and soul. not pop or country. Yet...she can sing absolutely anything.
If Lilly hadn't gone I would have thought she and Crystal would be in the final. Now i still think it's Lee and Crystal and Crystal will walk it. If she doesn't, she will be fine. I would buy her music. I can't say that about anyone else.

Posted: 4/21/10 at 11:03pmand they didn't pull a lame "you're all safe" thing - i think only worked once because they didn't want people to expect it. wanda sykes made me laugh...and yeah, tim had to go, but he has the most disney series/deal deal locked in the bag. i think he'll be just fine. i wish it was Casey though and from a distance they all looked like the Good Humour man. seriously, 50s ice cream ads a plenty.

This season is so boring, but I can't NOT watch it.
Shania songs tonight, ugh.. Although most should be able to tackle them well enough.

out of all her catalogue they all did ballads. ugh! well, not Siobhan, and even Crystal could have livened that song up a bit. it isn't a ballad. I liked it, but I love her voice and she did make it her own. i want to see her MOVE though.
I have to say as much as I am not a big Mike fan he does sound like a Luther that is already on the radio. he has a beautiful voice - he did the best for me. i was also touched by Aaron. the love he showed to his mum was genuine and not put on.

as much as I love Sinatra...i can already imagine the songs they will sing.
Simon loves Frank Sinatra. He is one of his all time favourites.
this is safe for those left because they can all sing slow songs. but croon them? don't have to really if it is about making them their own.
come on Crystal put on a top hat and belt out New York New York with some high leg kicks. lol

For Siobhan, I think singing lessons would be the difference between being terrible and being wonderful. So...now that she's been rightfully ousted, she should look into that.
I guess I'm hoping for a Crystal and Lee top 2 now.

Posted: 4/29/10 at 11:56amCouldnt agree more about the lessons. She has so much potential, but needs some control and to get her lower register out of her nose. I was hoping for some growth in those areas, but not so much. I'd still rather hear her than the 17 year old. He could stand some lessons as well.
