I just watched the whole 60 Minutes piece. I think Anderson asked to do the piece just so he could see Phelpls live in a speedo. There was really not much more than we already know about Phelps included in the piece.

Michael Phelps is very, very attractive. The fact that he doesn't display his medals, just shows us how "normal" he is - that he doesn't like to flaunt his fame.

Fflagg, how would you know what's best for a total stranger? Do strangers come up to you and tell you how to live your life?

If Anderson is gay or not....who cares? It's no one's business but his. Regardless of if a person is gay or straight, that tells you absolutely nothing about them...nothing...are they a good person, do they have morals, do they have good character, etc...

To each his own. Not everyone thinks Phelps is hot, but enough do. I used to have a bit of a crush on Anderson, (I even stayed up to watch him on the overnight news. Okay, that may be a big crush!) but that went away for reasons I will not post here.

Anderson is extremely lucky that he's been allowed to keep his private life private, and that the gay community, apparently, doesn't want him outed bad enough to start lying and making up s**t about him. Also, I don't know much about Anderson's fanbase, but I would be surprised if there is an entire message board dedicated to writing slash fiction about him, and posting their fantasies on gossip sites as if they were real.
