I just checked all of their web sites and they are DOWN!

Take that you haters!

"Less than a week ago, a rumor spread that the vigilante hacker organization Anonymous had declared war on the Westboro Baptist Church. Though quickly dismissed as a hoax, the headline-grabbing possibility spread through the media faster than an offensive Kanye West tweet. Given the clandestine nature of Anonymous -- as the name implies, all of the member of the group are, in fact, anonymous -- the truth proved elusive. Regardless, the Westboro Baptist Church started a smear campaign against Anonymous and insisted that their message could not be silenced. In the words of WBC: "Bring it."

The entire family is! I usually never wish harm onto other people. I believe it's not my place to do so and no matter how much I "dislike" them, I never can bring myself to "hate" them or wish them harm (I mean, obviously I hate pedo's, murderers and such)
BUT
These people are the exception. They bring nothing but pain and harm onto others. They drip hate and venom and I seriously think the world would be a better place without them. Take the poor kids away from them, get them away from these fvcks, and then put the adults into a cage and let some tigers have their way with them.
Again, sorry for being such a biatch but I have seen the pain they can do first hand. They deserve no remorse.

surprised someone would ask that 'round these parts. as the ATC debacle recently proved, if you're not internet savvy, it can take some time for the websites to get going again. that said i'm sure phelps will find the money somewhere.

As much as I loathe Phelps & Co, I'm not sure this tactic is effective. They thrive on the attention, and even though their website may be down, they're still getting the attention. Their worst nightmare would be to become marginalized.
