For the record - Marster's run on Smallville isn't over yet -- his character is hiding out in Honduras and Lex is still looking for him - I think he's supposed to come back by the end of the season.
As much as I loved the entire series of Buffy, hands down my favorite episode was Once More, WIth Feeling. No other show (to my knowledge) has EVER pulled off a gimmick with that much style, wit and artistry. The episode could have been a complete disaster, but it was BRILLIANT - to the point that I still listen to the CD on a semi-regular basis....
"And we will walk through the fire..."
OMG, I can't remember crying as hard for anything as much as I did Becoming: Part 2. Miss Saigon is the only thing I could think of that comes close...
I remember after watching that, I had to study for a social studies test the next day. I got tears all over my textbook!
Same w/ IWRY. What a great episode, but such a bad way of ending it.
I don't know, for a while my emotions were pretty tightly wound in Buffy & Angel. It was just a spring board for me to get tears out when I needed to. In the 4th season, they got into a fight on Angel and I was crying a little. Then one of my best friends called and I was crying, and she kept asking me what was wrong, and I kept saying it's nothing, you're gonna think it's stupid, don't worry. She kept prodding so finally I explained that Buffy and Angel had a fight. She almost hung up on me. I told her she'd think it was stupid...

Just wanted to say thanks to Katt and wickedtentq! =)
And yes, Christophe Beck's music is gorgeous. What a super talented man. (And an ex college a cappella geek, like me! We bonded about that over dinner once. LOL)
The show is one of my absolute favourites! I own all seven seasons on DVD.
I also cried really hard during the end of "Becoming: Part 2" but I think I cried even harder after watching "The Gift"... the ending of that episode just killed me... and Buffy *g*
The music during that last scene is soooo beautiful!
The German translations suck by the way...
Erika---Brava! ...on your work an your association with this show!
*bows respectfully*
Thanks JustChillin8908 for telling me that. You have an amazing voice. I remember the first buffy episode I saw was "Witch" in the first season. I was only 9 when I saw that episode and at the end was scared to death.
Yay.

Renthead#1: I'm not certain to whom you're speaking (about the amazing voice)... But if it's me, thank you so much! If it's not, I'm totally embarrassed now. And I just have to say, I am psyched you remember The Witch so well! That's my very dear friend, Elizabeth Anne Allen. (Amy the Witch, that is. And later, Amy the Rat. lol) We actually met after season 2 (my band was hired to perform at the wrap party), and we've been very good friends ever since. She helped me move in to my apartment. And I was just at her house yesterday. (She and her hubby have a 7 month old son, and they're doing great!) Elizabeth rocks. Completely. =)
best12bars: *blush* And I bow to you, too!
Yes I was speaking to you erikaamato. I cant believe you know Elizabeth Anne Allen. My secpned besides "Once More With This Feeling" I love the "Halloween" episode where they turn into their costumes.
I am a huge Buffy (and Angel) fan...there is talk of a Spike movie being written now....
That sounds interesting.

You wouldn't have to go see it, it'll be a television movie. The sap in me wants a movie in which Buffy and Angel are reunited, but it will never happen.
I love love love it. Buffy is my favorite show of all time. Anya is my favorite.
Where did you read about this Spike movie?

Joss has talked about it on occasion, but he's been very busy lately.
Also...I just saw a picture of the last shot in "Not Fade Away" and almost cried. Seriously. I miss this show so much.

Oh, that's cool that you know Elizabeth! One of my favorite lines from the series:
Buffy: (something like) so how have you been?
Amy: Rat. You?
Buffy: Dead.
I am a huge Buffy fan. I have adored it since back in the day(grade 6). My favorite episodes are(per season)Prophecy Girl, Passion, Homecoming, Restless, Fool for love/The Body(dont make me pick), Once More With Feeling, Conversations with Dead People/Storyteller

Plant me firmly in the Faith/Eliza Dushku camp. She would beat me silly on a daily basis, but I'd love every second of it!
<----Big Ol' Buffy Fan.
My dog is even named after a character from the show.
