Why? -- Tell me why this thread has 400 posts?
About Hamlet, for us Americans, I've heard from a very reliable source at PBS that they're aiming for an April 28th US airdate.

Tommy - We should have more because Doctor Who/Torchwood/David Tennant kicks ass
Tommyboy, I should think the answer is obvious -- there are people on this board who like Doctor Who.
Hollygolightly -- good news!
BTW, don't forget David Tennant is on PBS tonight as host of Masterpiece Contemporary.

April 28th seems like ages away.
Kec, how are the Masterpiece Contemporary spots? I haven't watched them yet, but I've got them on my dvr.
Didn't they also just announce when BBC is going to air Waters of Mars? Haven't seen anything about BBC-America though.
The finale is apparently airing on BBC America "over the holiday season...Airdates will be released in early December." The DVDs of the "The Waters of Mars" and the finale are being released in the states on February 2, along with a box set of all the specials.

Lovely... he looks and sounds great -- love the Scottish accent. The programs he's presenting are very interesting as well.
"Didn't they also just announce when BBC is going to air Waters of Mars? Haven't seen anything about BBC-America though."
I posted info on the previous page -- twice, but for some reason the first one didn't "take." On the same day that BBC announced Waters of Mars was airing on November 15 in the UK, BBCAmerica announced it would air in the U.S. on December 19. Not sure why the five week lag between the dates, unless BBCA decided to wait until Robin Hood finished (on Dec. 12) and put WOM in that time slot. We shoud get the other two shortly after they air in the UK according to the press release.

Speaking of THE WATERS OF MARS, here is the most recent trailer:
Waters of Mars trailer
I read a spoiler that includes something BIG that happens on "Water of Mars" that directly results in "IT comes out of the dark" tagline of the last episode but unless you want me to say what it is, I am going to keep it hush hush
As temped as I am about the spoiler, I'm giong to be good and avoid it. I'll see the program soon enough
The cover of that dvd is reason enough to get an all-regions dvd player! I'm sure BBCA will show it at some point, or PBS.
Do you mean the Hamlet DVD cover? PBS is going to air that Hamlet in the spring. I've been told a US dvd will be available as well.
A second trailer for Waters of Mars:
Doctor Who Waters of Mars Trailer 2
With Waters of Mars coming up on BBC in the UK on Sunday, the TV magazines are full of stories about the program. Here's a link to an article in their Radio Times (Through David Tennant's website):

And here is a preview article on the episode:
Waters of Mars Preview
Waters of Mars tonight in the UK...
Did anyone see DT on the Graham Norton show Saturday night? One of the other guests, Johnny Vegas, talked about a recent audition to play Oliver Hardy in something. Norton thought that Vegas and Tennant would do well as Laurel and Hardy, whereupon DT ruffled his hair like Laurel used to do. I think DT would do well as Laurel, were a movie of his life were to be made.

Great episode - back on form after the disappointing previous special. I don't want to spoil anything for anyone, so I'll just say that the final ten minutes are just astounding!
And if the villain of the Christmas episodes was an open secret before, they were name-checked in the trailer at the end of Waters of Mars, so you may wish to avoid that if you want to be completely 'un-spoilered'!
The US / Canadian air date is 19th Dec:
Gallifrey One
The anticipation for The Waters of Mars grows.
HOLY SH*T! "Waters of Mars" is definitely in the top 3 Doctor Who episodes for me, behind "Blink" and "Girl in the Fireplace." BRAVA!
Eastwickian - I completely agree. The last 10 minutes had me speechless.
For those not in the UK, if you look through youtube, you might find what you seek
Also, here is the "End of Time" trailer:
TRAILER
Indeed one of the absolute best. I had a bit of discomfort at something the Doctor said in those last 10 minutes. It was not a side of him I liked at all. and WoW, that preview for the End of Time...

CRAP! I meant to set my dvr to record Graham Norton, but I was working so hard this weekend that I completely forgot! Grr...I'm angry at myself for forgetting that!
And I can't wait to see Waters of Mars! As soon as I get a day off, I'm gonna be watching it!
The DT portions of Graham Norton are up on YT, I believe...
Is it me, or is BBCA taking DW off On Demand? They only have the first two "season 2" episodes...I hope they keep going!
