I was going to say she is pregnant with twins, right? She could miscarry and that would be the two other deaths.
It's not totally implausible. The stress of the plane crash could cause it.

Hmm...this should be an interesting episode! I've been watching since day one and will watch till it ends.
I think the 5 year jump was good. I only wish Edie hadn't died.

Pgenre, can you give us an example of the bad writing - what scene, what character, specific dialougue. etc...

I am reading that one of the babies dies. Apparently it could be saved but would suffer a deformity? Sounds weird, but they've done weirder. The plane lands on Orson & Bree's house and traps them inside, but they both survive.

neal, it is easier to give examples of when the writing is good. some examples of BAD, um, entire betty applewhite waste of a season storyline, introducing harriet harris only to ditch her and never follow up with her cutting off her own finger, dumping edie-the only character with any wit or heat, making lynette, the best written character of the first season and turning her into a whiny victim...the list goes on and on. the show has jumped the shark 20 times over.

Thank you for the spoiler alerts, some of you!!

None of the spoilers are confirmed. It's all still speculation. I had no idea anyone even died this week until I saw this thread. Why even read this thread if you don't want to be spoiled?

I agree 100% with Bettyboy - BRAVO!
It's a disaster.
As I said, I hope Cherry digs them out of this hole.

It really is at the point that I don't even go back and watch if I miss an episode. I kind of missed this whole "Carlos becomes a douche" thing. Why wouldn't Lynette just say she didn't know she was pregnant when he promoted her?

EXACTLY, JERSEYGIRL!!!!! Lynette is a smart woman. Instead they created that stupid (and boring) storyline.

Did it ever occur to anyone that the "Chemical Storage Room" office Lynette was stuffed in will cause her a miscarriage? I know that my girlfriend works at Safeway, and an oven cleaning agent is infamous for causing miscarriages. It even has a warning for it on the bottle. They call it a "Safeway Abortion." A VERY ironic, oxymoron-ish name. lol

Karl was definitely there Season 1, from the very beginning (episode 3). He'll be gone and from what I read somewhere else, he leaves Susan a strip club which is the morally questionable asset the spoiler on this thread referred to.
I tried watching the first couple episodes and really hated them. I particularly hated the second episode in which Susan had that ridiculous conversation with Lynette basically telling her not to have an abortion. For all the fuzz about it, the show is incredibly conservative.
Eva Longoria is the only person I find funny in the show anymore but not enough to make me want to watch it. I agree with others that Lynette is so incredibly unlikable, so different from the first season.

Dana Delany apparently let is slip that she's not killed off in the crash because her character's in a hospital bed. Whether she survives her self-inflicted stab wound is another story....

The promo for next week that was aired after this week's episode showed Katherine sitting up in her hospital bed looking annoyed. So I have to guess she's okay based on that alone.

I noticed her in the promo, too, but I can't help but hope she'll still get the axe.

I wish they'd kill that idiot Susan, but that'll never happen.

I really dislike the turn Katherine has taken over the past two seasons. She went from a fairly likeable character to a raging psycho. I've liked Dana Delany as an actress since her China Beach days and was pleased when she originally joined the show. But now I just want her to go away which is more about the writing of her character than anything. Like I said I like her - heck she's my very favorite Lois Lane!

It could very well be Tom who dies. It would certainly raise the stakes for Lynette being pregnant and having to raise the twins she's pregnant with alone.
What has happened to Porter or Prestin? I don't know which one is still there but there has only been one twin this season.

Well, the actor playing Andrew is leaving the show...but he's not really had any part in this season, so killing him wouldn't be that effective.
I want Katherine gone, but I doubt she dies in the plane crash...that would be too easy. They'll inevitably play up the 'ohhhhh Mike stabbed me' story, which will be frustrating.
Karl has been a big part of this season, but is dispensable and I'd imagine they want Bree out of the marriage and affair to start next season fresh.
Carlos has been a dick recently, and the Gabby/Carlos banter has gone. They might kill him off and John come and sweep her off her feet.
Whats with the plane in the teaser?! It's tiny, how could it cause so much damage/drama? Unless I'm missing something...I would have thought they'd have a boeing fly in and trash the Lane?

A private jet falling from the sky would have enough velocity to destroy several houses if the impact was at an angle.

But in the teaser, it kind of just looks like its casually sliding down the middle of the road...

I was thinking that too - I was expecting a much bigger plane.
The only character of the possibilities (since I'm assuming all housewives with the remote possibility of Katherine will survive) that I would be really ticked if they were killed off would be Tom. I still like his character a lot, and honestly I think he's one of the few characters that serves as a touchstone with reality.
