Posted: 8/16/06 at 4:47pmThe press (especially Geraldo Riviera) totally convicted John and/or Patsy Ramsay for this murder. Patsy is now dead and it's a little late for apologies, not that anyone would offer one.

I think if the suspect is convicted and found guilty, John Ramsay needs to sue every magazine and Rivera for slandering their name.

My first thought was, "They finally arrested the mother?"
I know she passed away, but, to me, she was always the #1 suspect.

The suspect is reportedly a 41 year old american second-grade school teacher.

The accused person's name was just released and he is John Mark Carr.
He is apparently a convicted sex offender and has confessed to "certain elements of this crime."
He had been under investigation for quite some time. Patsy Ramsay knew about this suspect because the Boulder, Colorado District Attorney Mary Lacey discussed it with John and Patsy sometime prior to Patsy's death in June.

I'd go to Cnn.com for more news, but I can't without my browser crashing. Is it true that they have this guy on DNA evidence, or is that just a rumor?
I heard about this as soon as I came home. My jaw hit the floor.

If I may add my useless nine-degrees-of-Kevin-
Bacon comment, my sister in law is an Assistant DA in CO, and SHE says that the investigators that she knows and respects most in her region are unanimous in their belief that the parents did NOT do it.
