Sorry. I'm just not buying it. I think they just found a likely sicko schmuck to pin it on. With enough money and enough connections (and the Ramseys have both), anything is possible. And if (and that's a big IF at this point) this guy did have something to do with it, I still think the Ramseys were involved in some way. Sorry. But they're either pod people from the planet Stepford or they're lying through their teeth. My guess is the latter. And just for the record, any parent who involves their children in those kiddie Beauty Pageants should be arrested for child abuse. They're positively creepy.

The more I follow the case, the more I doubt they have the right guy. I think maybe he's just a sick f**k loking for a little fame. I have no doubt he's a pedophile, but I'm seriously doubting he did this.

I agree about his neck being too thin and his pants are hiked up too high. He's revolting and a pedophile and his ex wife says he couldn't possibly be in Colorado at that time. Thankfully they have the DNA from Jon Benet's fingernails.

Now we just have to wait and see if his DNA matches up. I'm willing to bet it doesn't.
I like what Chris Matthews said about him. He said Karr reminds him of Norman Bates.

It doesn't feel right, does it? I'll be a little surprised if this guy ends up being the "one." There is definitely more to this story.

The Ramsays continued to be suspects, even with the DNA not matching, because it was always speculated that they could have hired someone or covered up evidence, etc. The police certainly didn't buy their story 100 percent.

And there are hundreds of cases of false confession. In fact almost every high profile murder has dozens of people who come forward and confess to the crime. It's not always a question of protecting a man's innocence until proven guilty. Sometimes it truly is the reverse.

What I'd like to know about this, is why we know about it? Why was this story given to the press, before all the facts were checked? I believe there have been over 200 confessions in this case. Can you name any others? Why this one? As with the rest of this case, this is very odd.

I heard an interesting thoery on why we heard about this "confession" so quickly. As I'm sure a lot of you know, Thailand is the child-sex capitol of the world. They get this guy in custody on unrelated child-sex charges, and he's a nut-job, and he starts confessing to all sorts of things - including the JonBenet murder - just to get the heck out of Thai prison (woo-hoo! extradition!), and the Thai authorities think, "A-ha! We can make a great impression on the world by claiming we nailed this guy! We solved one of the most famous child-sex/murder cases in history!" So, they contact the press, hold that weird press conference with the suspect acting like he's on a talk show or something, and make sure the whole world knows it was the Thai police who finally found JonBenet's killer.

Again, that's just some theory I heard on the radio.

What if he is terminally ill (hence the thin gaunt look) and hello, he gets his 15 minutes and noone will really know for sure whether he did it or not.. Can't wait to see how this turns out.

I wouldn't put anything past this nutcake. Was he close friends with John an Patsy Ramsey? I don't remember if that was reported or not. He may be thinking, "Hell, I'm dying anyway". It would be one heck of a red herring.

Namo, that was THE best SNL sketch ever!

I had that episode on tape for years but lost it. Mary Gross as Alfalfa. Joe Piscopo as Ted Koppel ("Let's go to the videotape!") I even remember that Duran Duran was the musical guest that night. And that funny Tim Kazarinski/married to the monkey skit.
