Contestants can only pick songs from the ’90’s. (This includes any song from the ’90s’s AND any song from a show that opened in the’90’s.)
***THE CATCH - Since someone suggested gender-reversal...the ladies will do a song originally sung by a man, and vice versa.***
THE NITTY-GRITTY - I would RATHER people chose non-Broadway songs, personally. But if you do, then Revivals count as long as they opened in the '90s. Remakes of songs also count too, as long as the karaoke is from the cover (i.e. Fugees' Killing Me Softly).
