I agree. The pot plot never made sense nor was interesting to me. Actually, non of the sub-plots are as interesting as the Norma/Norman story. the writing and acting is superb by both actors.

So, didn't anyone else notice that face on Norman that I posted about?

Looks like I was right when I surmised what happened to the girl.

Totally agree the pot subplot is nothing but filler and could be lost without anyone noticing it was gone.

WOW!!! Those last 10 minutes tonight were fantastic!! Excellent episode all-around!!

A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.

His psyche is fragmenting and taking on the personality of his mother. If Norma committed the murders, then Norman didn't. If the storyline of the series follows the movie, Norman will eventually cease to exist, and he will become his mother.

From the screenplay...
Dr. Simon: "When the mind houses two personalities, there is always a battle. In Norman's case, the battle is over... and the dominant personality has won."

The problem with this show is the subplots that no one cares about. During the Romero scenes especially tonight (at the men's club and the scene in his office) I was bored. It feels like your watching a separate show from the Bates family's show.

Thanks guys. I know that Norman is gradually turning into his mother. But because of that, I wondered why she, in his imagination, would be telling him that he did kill Annika. I loved the expression on her face, though. so scary! Like the expression Norman had last week. I love the acting and direction on this show.

And what was that thing Annika handed to Norma as she died? (or probably died).

not exactly an exciting episode tonight, was more of just a lead in to what'll happen next week. I think the sh!t's going to fly on next week's episode.

With each episode, I am looking forward to when Norman completely delves into the deep end. I mean, it's apparent already and one of the reasons I enjoy watching it is for Norman's descent into madness. Freddie Highmore does a great job at getting into the creepiness of the character without copying Anthony Perkins (another reason why I've been keeping up with the show). I agree that there were some plot points in this last episode that seemed dull. I personally thought it would have made more sense if Norma's brother died when he fell off the roof, but it's television after all, so there's going to be an element of disbelief. I can't wait to see what's revealed in those files that were in that USB plug.

Hey producers, you can't show Norma running away in the last seconds of the episode, only to follow that with scenes from next week showing that she's home and everything is back to 'normal'. Why even have her run away? Fail.

I loved how Paris sat there with the same grin on his face during the whole scene with Norma and her power trip. Everyone is so creepy on this show.

those last 10 minutes of last night's episode were terrific. Looks like Norman really loses it next week. I think it's clear that Norma has to return anyways with all of her drama with the bypass and the deal she just made. Though I'd say it's doubtful if that deal ever goes into play.

In the film, though, Janet Leigh was on the highway and did see the motel sign and turned off to it. So maybe the bypass deal does work.

OMG what did I just see? What an episode. I was riveted to the screen. This series sucks me in just like a well made horror film. I just love it.

p.s. When Romero first wakes up in the hospital, they forgot his under-eyeliner. After that, he always had it on.

Oh h-ho, last night's episode was literally everything I have come to love about this show. It was unpredictable, mesmerizing, surprisingly emotional, and bat**** INSANE. Outstanding performances from all.

ust finished watching it and wow, great riveting episode. Norman embodying Norma was incredible. Norman's not the only one unravelling, Norma is as well! Please, the disc drive storyline is dragging this down. End it and the pot growing soon please.
