Sanders and his supporters handed the keys to the White House to the thug who currently occupies the Oval Office."
And this absurd certainty that he POSITIVELY, ABSOLUTELY, UNDENIABLY, AND RELIABLY would have won is another ridiculous way Sanders supporters continue to bash those who voted for Clinton.
Seriously question though, has the Senator changed back to a Democrat yet?"
I have never contended that Bernie would have certainly won the election if he had been the nominee.
I tell my fellow Sanders supporters who make that smug claim that they are just plain wrong. No one knows what would have happened if Sanders had won the nomination.
But one thing I'm fairly certain of.
If Sanders had been the nominee and lost, a vast majority of Clinton supporters would be smugly making the parallel claim: if we had only been practical and nominated HIllary Clinton she'd now be president, but no, we had to go crazy and nominate Bernie Sanders....
Of course we know that Hillary Clinton was the nominee and she didn't win.
But can anyone persuade me that I'm wrong that if Sanders had been the nominee and lost, 9/10 of us would be beating our chests for having not nominated Clinton, who so... how did you put it: POSITIVELY, ABSOLUTELY, UNDENIABLY AND RELIABLY would have won!???
Hindsight, my friends, is always 20 20.
