Anyone catch it tonight -- absolutely brilliant!

Parodies of everything: Little Shop, Marx Brothers, Back to the Future, Indiana Jones, McCain/Palin, Bush doctrine...

I would easily say that was the strongest episode ever.

Yup. My jaw dropped when they showed the Nazi Officer wearing a McCain/Palin button. Yup, they went there. GREAT episode tonight.Stewie more or less came out of the closet officially, didn't he? I LOVE FAMILY GUY. I think Brian and Stewie could have their own show.

Romantico-- I suggest Stewie and Brian appearing on Rosie's TV special. :) They can sing "If Mamma Was Married."

Do you and the others on this thread know about Family Guy doing some live shows?

Do you know what happens when you let Veal Prince Orloff sit in an oven too long?

Is it posted anywhere (or can we expect it to be put online anywhere?)?

I loved The Little Shop parody. This was their 3rd one wasn't it?

1. Herbert as Audrey.
2. Chris's pimple that told him to do bad things.
3. Da-doo parody.

I loved when Brian and Stewie were talking about why the US didn't invade Berlin.

I cannot remember the last time a Family Guy has been that enjoyable. What a great episode. I loved the scene when the Nazi camp was receiving the transmission and at the end it said "P.S. I got your last message. LMAO!"

Gregory Jbara voiced the priest, one of the screaming Germans crashing into the truck of manure, and the officer who said, "I want to be a schkateboarder". :)

Thanks for the YouTube links, romantico!

What was the sound heard when they pulled the Nazis over just before the McCain/Palin joke? It was a laser blast that sounded SO familiar. I don't think it was Star Wars, but I KNOW I heard that before (maybe it was and I'm overthinking it....).

At any rate, this episode absolutely deserves some Emmy consideration!

The Brian and Stewie "Road to..." episodes are always great. It's great that there's another one in the series.

Stewie and Gene Kelly dancing. I Wish there was a better version of this.

It was also the best-animated episode. They were doing some really complex stuff. Not that that's the goal of the series, of course, but it was interesting to see.

Reg - I actually commented on that to my finacee -- the animation of the planes and tanks and all was gorgeous. It almost felt more like a short movie than a TV show.

That was quite a lot of fun, and I agree that the "Road" episodes are among the best since the focus is on the interplay between Brian and Stewie.

Heh, yes, loved the "100 Luftballons"...oops!

My dad and I watched it last night. I was a little worried he'd get offended by the McCain/Palin dig (he's quite conservative) but he thought it was hysterical.

One of my favorite moments was the "Let's ask Rick Moranis and the back-up singers from Little Shop of Horrors!"

I was actually surprised with how accurate they were - as far as historical dates were concerned. (And yet, they still were able to inject their own humour in, which was great).

Seth MacFarlane and I are destined to be together, joined by our love of Back to the Future and musicals.

Comparing McCain to Nazis was disgusting and uncalled for. Seth is BETTER than that kind of low blow. He's also clever enough to come up with something better than the tired old "war for oil!" cliche. VERY dissapointing. It was akin to the dreadful "Prom Night Dumpster Baby" song a while back. I'm not easily offended by ANY means, but i'm done with FG until after the election. I want to laugh and escape when I watch my favorite cartoon, not roll my eyes at lame atempts at political humor.

Seth could be having a BALL poking fun at Obama too, but that's out of the question.

FG offends everyone and everything.

so in other words you are saying that you want to "escape" and laugh at other people getting offended, but you can't take it when your own values are mocked.

it's friggin' family guy, dude. have a sense of humour.

your hypocracy makes baby Jesus cry.
