Oh. And I also recall a newspaper story about a family with five kids in my town, named Princess, Million (supposedly pronounced MY-lynn), Snowflake, Krystall, and Lizzy.
Why anyone would voluntarily go by Lizzy is beyond me...

My Algebra II teacher from last year, Mr. Debouzy (he has an extremely thick French accent, being from France) named his seventh child Moogli. It's pronounced "moo-lee".

Down through the years I've taught several girls named "Lexus". one "Mercedes" and another "Chrysler"--all admitted to being named after cars.
My favorite name will always be "Richard J Slappy". Oh, how I wished I could have!

I've a few Mercedeses. From what I know, it's a fairly common name within Hispanic families.

Then there were the identical twins I taught. They were really fine young men. However their names were "Infant" and "Infinite" Sadderwhite. They claimed the names were cherished family traditions.

I met someone once with the name Char Cole.
The truly sad thing is that she didn't get it.
