First - how is Bristol a "star?" Because she got knocked up? Or because her mom is a disgrace to America? Hopefully she'll follow in her moms footsteps and quit half way through the competition for no reason at all!
And that's also the peculiar thing - isn't it. She's not a star and her mom insist that her children should not be in the public eye - yet they do everything they can to whore them out there. In this case - I believe whatever dancer she's paired with is the real star. And should also be given hazard pay.

Bristol is far from the first non "star" to be on this show and is certainly not going to be the last.
Would anybody in America have known who Heather Mills was if it weren't for the fact that she was Mrs. Paul McCartney? Is Bristol really that different than any of the other reality TV "stars" that have been showcased?

Reality stars are boring and always shall be. Bristol rhymes with pistol. That's the only thing I can think of that's remotely interesting about her.
The "reality" stars I'd like to see on this show are people who could use a little exposure and fun and prize money for what they do for a living, like nurses and firefighters and stuff. And also police officers, EMT's and firefighters. How about overworked moms, dads and firefighters?
I'd rather see these people on the show than Pistol Bralin. (Firefighters!)

I don't have any problems with gay people because my uncle, who's been good to me my entire life, and his partner are gay and I will always consider them part of my family. The 5th grade teacher at my elementary school was also a lesbian, but she was very nice. I also think Ellen Degeners is a very funny lady.
However, Lance Bass disappeared into thin air after NSYNC broke up and all he was well-known for after that was coming out of the closet. ABC wanted to gain a gay fan base with "Dancing with the Stars" while they were doing the same thing with Callie and Erica on "Grey's Anatomy." Here's the proof in this article:

ETA: I still watch "Grey's Anatomy" to this day, but I didn't watch while Eric Hahn was on there because she was incredibly RUDE and had NO PERSONALITY whatsoever. Arizona Robbins is a terrific character on the show because she's very likeable.

Anyway, why can't Bristol Palin get a real job? I'm so sick of these wannabe celebrities. I mean, I understand that this is probably tons more money and they like showbusiness and all that, but still. Look how well that turned out for the Gosselins.
