Ugh, I hate when people say negative things about her...ehem, broadwayguy. I truly admire that girl. Maybe if you actually watched the interview, you'd realize that the girl has class.

I'm sorry....this is another one I can't stomach. Ugh. Start actually singing at your concerts and prove that you can sound good without some recording engineer tweaking your voice. Then talk to me. I love the way she wears a mic in concert and adds in a real "Uh!" or "Oh!" or "Wooo!" everyonce in awhile to make people think she's actually singing live.

Perhaps this is why I have so much respect and admiration for Broadway performers - they DO have to sing live and they DO have to sound great.

Honestly, Britney Spears IS a real class act. I am a big fan of hers and after the interview last night I gained so much more respect. I dont understand when people say that they do not like her yet then watch the interview! I am 18 and there is no way in hell I would be able to handle the fame she has now at 22 since she was 17. I think people need to stop talking trash about her. Like last night the gov. of W. Virgina said she would shoot Britney Spears if she had a gun?!?!? What was that? If you like her then like her if you dont leave the poor girl alone! Shes 22 years old, she is going to make stupid choices like every young adult.

And Ryan you KNOW you are just jealous you queen!

I generally don't click on threads that don't interest me. However, there was no indication this was OT. For all I knew, she was announcing her broadway debut. I enjoy OT topics as much as anyone, but it's just my preference that they be in a separate forum.

I disagree that most 22 year olds are idiots.

She is 21 so why shouldnt she be able to act her age? I don't think she is a great singer at all but I do think that she is a great entertainer. She is a pop icon who has stuck around longer than most and hey can Madonna sing? Nope. Look at her career. Britney is worth Millions of dollars and isn't going anywhere anytime soon. People like to bash sucess and she has plenty of it.

Whatever....success is having to make out with Madonna on the MTV music awards for publicity? Right. Talk to me when she can sell a record or a single without having to show her cleavage and wear skimpy outfits. Say all you want about Christina Aguilera, she wears equally skimpy outfits, and is equally controvesial, but she actually has TALENT and a personality, that will ensure her longevity as a performer and an artist.

Cheers,

First, I just have to say that age does NOT determine your level of intelligence. Anyone who does think that must give absolutely no respect to poor, defenseless 5 year olds.

Secondly, yeah great...she can handle fame. She knows how to pose half-naked and dance. Big whoop! Britney Spears is ridiculed because she is dumb. The answers, which aren't prepared, that come out of her mouth makes me wonder if she's on drugs. Maybe if she was actually talented and was able to sing without that nasal twange, I could look past her idiocy, but since she has no talent there is nothing very redeeming about her. If she wanted to be taken seriously she wouldn't do the crap that she does.

I don't wish for her death, but I wish for her to just disappear.

I have no problem admitting I was an idiot at 22. Everyone's an idiot at 22. That's what 22 is about.

Balladeer,

I have a feeling it wasn't Britney who was in need of the publicity. My thought is that it was the elder stateswoman who was hoping for a boost to her record sales.

"I think in reality, if you really know in your heart of heart that you are gonna be with that person, forever, and you really think that, with all of your heart, and you're in four, or five years, you know, into the relationship, I mean, stuff can happen," Spears said.

...and that's all I have to say about that.

Why did she start crying? We had a fire alarm right at that exact time and I missed the sensitve question that upset her.

The cover of her new album has a headshot. Much more mature than usual.
