I'd recommend bringing binoculars. The view isn't bad--and it's not *too* far away, but I kind of wish I had had binoculars. The girls behind me had some and used them.

Wow! All my friends saw her last night here in Boston and from their facebook's statuses. they are all saying that....

Super Sucks! and its all about lipsynching (she did not even sing 1 live song and DRY (hair) weave!


I heard all she sings was.....like this! like that! mmmmmm....mc......nuget! baby, baby!

I also heard that..she missed to open her mouth to lipsynch in some of her songs that was captured on that big jumbo tron TV monitor!

Wow! how can someone sucks at lipsynching? its good I did not waste any money to see her show last night! just to see her lipsynched and her dry thirsty hair weave!

Did she ever lose her pouch (that I posted from NOLA's show) before she wore those revealing outfit? she needs to refrain from eating at McDonald's!

Spears may have been the ringmaster, but the sheer number of marks she forced herself to hit in the performance seemed to drain any sense of spontaneity; she sometimes appeared more focused on mechanically getting to the next step than on enjoying the moment or connecting with the crowd. Jay, I have some news for you, there's a reason Britney always has enormous microphones: they cover her mouth. She's never been able to lipsynch. How pathetic does a performer have to be to fail Drag Queen 101?

From the Boston Herald:

Spears didn’t even pay lip service to lip synching, instead she just occasionally mouthed along to her backing tracks. And, as the show wore on, her dancing seemed less crisp and eventually bordered on lifeless...."

Dont get me wrong. I know some of you like Britney and wanted her to be able to come back once more. I agree on that. I am rooting for her too. but my main issues with her are:

1. She's charging $35.00-$115.00 for a show that's passing as concert. The last time I checked the dictionary- concert means live? (correct me if I am wrong?)

2. Her staging at CIRCUS was a rip-off of Madonna's sticky and sweet tour. I saw some photos and it was a blantant copy of Madonna's staging. what? -they are running out of creative minds to come out with original & fresh idea?

3. On her pouch..I never said she's fat.. its just IF you are charging top money ..at least she should have been in great shape or at least go to the gym or get a lipo. so at least she looks great. I am not saying that a performer-should look great or skinny. There are a lot of performers that are not in shape but can really sing well. Well at least she looks good (you know what I mean) let's face it- she sucks at lipsynching- at least she will look good and in top shape. its like she's doing a half ass job and still binging at McDonald's.. Okay..maybe "pouch" is not correct but she has this sagging adipose tissues- that's kinda weird to look at. IMO- If you are going for a strip like show. would you be at least be in good shape? for a 25 yrs old? she has sagging skin already??

4. Her choreography- all I see from youtube is her shaking her dry, thirsty hair and walking back and forth and making hand gestures and singing.."like this, like that"
That hair of hers too- i cant really deal with it. It looked so overdyed and sooo DRY with split ends.. its like if you soak her hair at Hudson River, it will absorb all the water and dry the river.

I am glad that some of you enjoyed the show. I saw some of your photos at facebook. I just dont think I would enjoy it knowing that she lip synched the whole show. copied staging and its like watching a bad cheesy Vegas strip show (not that I would see one) and her opening act- Was it Pussycat Dolls group singing...."When I grow up...I wanna be a whore! I wanna be a whore! when I grow up" Okay.. I would really enjoy that!

I want her to make a comback too but this crappy strip show passing as concert and charging top money!!!

I wish I could go in Dallas. Like I said, I don't care if she lip synchs. It would be nice to hear her sing LIVE but the Spice Girls lip synched a few of their songs on their return tour. Like I said, being in the same room as them is good enough for me. lol. "I would just freak if an audio leak of the concert came out." The videos on "that site" are good, but not great. It would probably be better in real life.

I just dont understand as to WHY? - people here at BWW insisted that its okay for them to see her to lip synchs and were all into Broadway shows aka..live broadway shows! If there's any actors on Broadway that does what Britney does.. I am sure all of us will critize the musical.

I guess.. to each its own!

I guess it's different. They don't act (Broadway plays/musicals) sometime and they way their songs are (Circus or Womanizer for example) mixed and sung makes it difficult for them to ACTUALLY sing it. I don't know. Like I said, it doesn't matter to me. And I would, honestly, criticize a musical if there was in fact lipsynching to the musical numbers. I guess since Broadway is traditionally not lipsynched, it seems weird to criticize musicians because they HAVE lipsynched before.

Well, one thing you can do to try to grasp such a difficult concept, legallywicked, is READ THIS WHOLE THREAD and see that I was pointing out that jastarr is apoplectic (look it up) about the common knowledge but new to him discovery that this entire "concert" is lipsynched.

And some of us are trying to understand a world in which somebody could possibly get their lot of money's worth by "being in the same room as" somebody who is doing a poorly executed drag show.

My god, jay. Really--just let it go. I feel like people saying this IS her comeback is wrong. She's still making her comeback, I think. She has come a very long way from where she was a year ago and especially 2 years ago. Namo, to say Britney neve had any talent is not true. Britney was a really good dancer with a TON of stamina--her shows used to be exciting because she had challenging choreography and the whole concert experience with back up dancers, explosions, etc. made it exciting. What's really missing is the fact that she has not been given challenging choreography, which she is known for. I feel like she will probably never be where she was 5 years ago, but she will continue to improve with more rehearsals and challenging choreography.

So you're saying you pay to see a dance recital? Or is it more like, as I have always maintained, spending good money to watch somebody else do their aerobics class? Why call it a concert at all? I have to say I can't quite wrap my brain around "STAMINA" being the major selling point for going to an arena and sitting in a seat and staring at somebody (not even) lipsynching.

I mean, I can see the value of STAMINA in a live sex show. But not much of what Britney's doing can technically even be considered "live" so really, Parks, what is the point? What is the value?

It's not a concert, the vocals are all prerecorded, she's half the dancer she once was, but she wasn't lethargic and disoriented.
