OH.MY.GOD!!! I can't freakin' wait.
Ps. Christina has never looked more beautiful then she does at the beginning of the trailer.
What era is this supposed to be? It doesn't seem to make any sense. Or, is that the point? Everyone, other than Tucci, looks like a wax works figure
It takes place in today's time. I, believe, most burlesque clubs have the feel of the 20s with the way they dress and such.
Cher's face doesn't move at ALL!
I think Cher looks better than she has in years! Her face moves more than it did. It didn't move at ALL when she made that horrible clunker, Faithful. There's a part where she's kissing Chaz Palmintari and her lips don't even move as they touch his skin.
I can't wait for this. This is like my cinematic wet dream.
Cher was my first love. Our affair started in 1985 when I was 9 years old. Though we may go long periods without each other, I always come back.
Cher will always pull you back in, JG2. You may think she's left you for good but just when you're about to accept life without her, she shows up on your doorstep with her bags and gives you that look that just says "I'm home".
Preach, brother!

"It's Chicago meets Showgirls! Can't wait! :)"
I got more of a Devil Wears Prada meets Showgirls vibe. Either way, I agree and can't wait to see this!
Sorry, guys. I smell GLITTER.
Blasphemy!
I will own it, bad or not... lol
Gosh, what IS that smell???
A coyote....? That's not very attractive...?
I just don't know.
Well, it's only a teaser trailer. I think Christina looks and sounds great. But, I will reserve more opinions until I see a full trailer.
Ps. With the song "Burlesque" and the track that leaked a few months ago, "Spotlight".....it seems like this is going to be such a fun soundtrack.
By the way, this was directed by Steven Antin who was the frat boy who raped Jodie Foster on a pinball machine in THE ACCUSED.
His sister is Robin Antin who was the impressario behind the Pussycat Dolls and no doubt the inspiration for the Cher character in BURLESQUE.
Of course the Pussycat Dolls went on to be pop stars with songs like "I Hate This Part Right Here" the video of which featured one of the PCD's leggy dancers suggestively straddling...a pinball machine!! Isn't that just the cutest?
Funny how these things go in circles, no?
Boy does that look awful. I can't wait.
Robin Antin's face looks like it's melting as well...so, perfect casting!
Oh how I fantasizes about being on that pinball machine with Steven Antin. Don't judge me too harshly. I've always had a thing for the bad boys. Lol
Steven Antin was also that hot guy who did every girl that walked in The Last American Virgin (but then he slut-shames the girl he knocked up, doesn't bother to pay for the abortion, and gets back with her after his homely friend Gary paid for it). I won't lie, he was hot but I could have done without such a mimbo character having a pot and kettle moment. Also I believe played Kerri Green's evil jock boyfriend in The Goonies.
Steve Antin was the quintessential 80s bad boy. Funny, because isnt he a big ole queen. Im pretty sure he is. He played Gregory Harrison's boyfriend in "Its My Party". I have a big crush on Steve.
Two predictions-amazing soundtrack and horrendous reviews but I bet it makes money. When Christina says, "tell me what you want!!!" and Cher goes into a cliched diatribe, I knew instantly this would be crap, but probably crap I will love.
Seriously, what stripper club has that kind of budget? Those strippers have sets that wouldn't fit in the Gershwin and we are supposed to believe Stanley Tucci runs them in the wings with ropes? hahahahahaha
