Actually, I'm home today because it's my daughter's birthday and we're taking her out to lunch. Now that she doesn't live here anymore we have to schedule time to see her on her special day.

Hubby gave me flowers this morning, saying that this was my "real Mothers Day". So sweet.

So funny mental image for everyone on this cold morning -

I thought I found a quick fix from having to manuever all around my room on crutches to get ready. I simply bounce myself on the edge of my bed around the room to grab what I need, bounce back, and so on (and remember my lack of patience so this is not slow and gentle....). Well this morning I bounced a little too much and bounced myself right off the bed. Luckily I landed in the much need to do pile of laundry so it was a cushy fall, and somehow my bad foot stayed up in the air the whole time. So no futher physical injury just emotional embarrasment, lol.

Moony - I shall try my best! But remember most of the reason I am in this situaion in the first place is that gravity hates me. Now have me balancing like a flamingo at all times and well the odds get even worse. Now I could have told you about falling off the toilet seat and the near disaster shower incident, but I am trying to hold on to the little bit of pride I have left, lol.
