The tragedies of 2014 have brought us together like glue! And, now we have to be united with my very ill sister at our house. We also have fantastic strong and loving kids who have made a few mistakes this year and we worked hard together to steady the ship together as a family!

Our receptionist had a sudden family emergency in California so we are scrambling to cover the front desk and switchboard. I drew the 9 to 11 shift. I don't even know how to work the switchboard, so this should be interesting. I think I'll just pull the plug on the phone and leave callers to their own resources.

Awesome to have a new job!

Mooney - I have faith in you! Football schedule and 4 honors classes collided last night - melt down for C16. He will figure it out! He is one smart kid.

Going to first Cubs game for the year. I referred case to friend which is settling today so he is taking me! More football tomorrow!

One ringy-dingy, Boobs!


Saw a lovely production of Nutcracker wit the Australian Ballet last night. Tonight my football team plays for a spot in the Grand Final. Monday, I'm taking my Mom to the Royal Melbourne Show (think a state fair, only with Aussies). Tuesday is dinner with some cousins I haven't seen in ages. All in all a fun and busy time.

GH - busy schedule!

C20 is now C21!!!! How do I have a 21 year old daughter!

C16 played well in the last quarter. He plays with swagger. Much fun with the fans before and after the game at the local bar!

Double duty singing today. My parents and sister were listed for intentions, got a little verklempt.

Had my first "real" conversation with sister. No discussion about addiction, but covered other serious issues.
