Morning peeps! "The Temple" is going to be the death of me! Between "Roll on up...." and "See my eyes..." All I can say is, F you Tim Rice! They want us off book by Thursday. We don't even have the right books yet. It seems the Musical director's score and the books from R&H that we have are different. Our lyrics are even off. WTF? I apologize in advance for any mumbling you may hear during this number.

Moony, it would be kind of funny to hear all the mumbles. It sounds like we all have marbles in our mouth. The asst. director keeps yelling "diction!" Well I think that's what she's saying.

Back from the partial white trash funeral. It is like there are two families - the educated and hicks.
Siblings fought over the most stupid issue - I am the Executor and apparently told my drunk brother to shut up three times during the family meeting. Old rifts are not going away and a few new chasms! But, overall very nice tribute! Exhausted!
A good number of my husband's family is quite....rural. This includes his brother-in-law who just died. If they hadn't cremated him, I'm sure they would have buried him with his guns and empty beer cans. It's always a an interesting cultural exchange experience when we go back to visit his family.
Spring in New York must be gorgeous by now. Woozy locals or not.
Moony, sorry the reply has been several days late. We have encountered a bit of broadband trouble. Anyway, you asked about my Hawks. They are seven weeks into a season that promises to be quite successful. We are (note the we) are on top of the standings following several wins with huge margins. Last week they played in torrential rain, wind, hail and thunder and you would have thought it a dry, sunny afternoon, the win was massive! So, I am a happy little Hawthorn fan.

I'll be glad when 11:30 is here. A head honcho is here until then, and everyone's in a panic. Of course, I'm stuck with greeting him, getting him settled, etc. Breakfast buffet for his 8:00 is due to be delivered at 7:30. Fingers crossed all goes well!
I hung out with Cheyenne Jackson in his dressing room waayyyyyy before he tickled D2."unleash the girly"

Honcho: A person in charge of some group or of some function, usually a male person. A Japanese word, often mistakenly thought to be of Spanish origin.

It's raining here in NYC, so I'm more casual than usual in the office on a Thursday. I'm just glued to my desk, so it doesn't really matter... today had to be about comfort. Nice when we can do that!
I'm so bummed that rain is predicted for next week. It's the annual Broadcast Network Upfront extravaganza, and we spend the entire week running from one event, meal, meeting, dinner, meet and greet, presentation... to the next. All over the city. No time in the office to get real work done (and yet it waits for nothing). As much fun as it is to see some of the programming announcements, it's exhausting with clients in tow every minute of the day. Rain just makes it miserable.
But, other than that...
Boobs, I just read back and hope you're having fun with the rehearsals. I'm sorry I'm so behind on everyone else's news. Sending happy thoughts your way.
