Somehow, I got logged out of my account and when I tried to log back in, the site didn't recognize my email address.
It took me a few minutes to remember that I had a different email address when I joined. Figuring out the password was a little easier.
Luckily, I didn't have to become shameless2.
Brd, I'm very sorry to hear the news.
Finish each day and be done with it. You have done what you could. Some blunders and absurdities no doubt crept in; forget them as soon as you can. Tomorrow is a new day; begin it well and serenely and with too high a spirit to be enbered with your old nonsense. ~ Emerson

Cheyenne Jackson tickled me. AFTER ordering SoMMS a drink but NOT tickling him, and hanging out with Girly in his dressing room (where he DIDN'T tickle her) but BEFORE we got married. To others. And then he tweeted Boobs. He also tweeted he's good friends with some chick on "The Voice" who just happens to be good friends with Tink's ex. And I'm still married. Oh, and this just in: "Pettiness, spite, malice ....Such ugly emotions... So sad." - After Eight, talking about MEEEEEEEE!!! I'm so honored! :-)
Cleaning up items at the office and then packing for the weekend. Many less grandkids will be at the services due to college finals - which is a good thing as less than half have gone to college.
Okay. Last night I caved when I saw that Bridges was closing. I bought a ticket for tomorrow night. And then since I wanted to make schlepping in worth my while, I bought a ticket to Gentleman's Guide matinee.
I plan on plopping in the recliner on Sunday, and if I can help it, barely budging .
I hung out with Cheyenne Jackson in his dressing room waayyyyyy before he tickled D2."unleash the girly"
Our fingerprints don't fade from the lives we touch.
It will still be playing when I come into town, so I am going to grab a ticket as well to Bridges along with Gentleman. So the tally will be 7 shows in 7 days (technically I could do two more ...).
That's sounds awesome, girly. I, too, will be in NYC but for bachlorette shenanigans. Dinner in hoboken and then wherever night takes us in NYC since my friend got us a comped room at a hotel up near columbus circle. Anyone know of any cheap but good brunch places in that area?
Then as soon as I get back to my car on Sunday, I drive to the soon to be nephew's baby shower. I don't particularly want to go but I know it's the right thing to do.
Brd - many more hugs!
BroadwayBoobs: I'll give all of you who weren't there a hint of who took the pictures ...it rhymes with shameless
Morning peeps! I wanted to see Bridges too, but with my schedule lately the only bridges I will be seeing are the ones I cross that take me from NJ to NY and back again. Thank God the church's big Auction is Saturday. I will be so glad when that is done. I have to be there at 10 a.m. I then have rehearsal at 1 - 4 p.m. in the church and then the Auction. Of course we have to clean up afterwards, so I'm lucky if I get home by 11. Then Sunday is Mother's Day, so we need to take Mama HC out for brunch. Calgon take me away!!!!!

Lovely weekend weather! You may remember hubby's sister, whose house burning down in September. Her husband passed away last night. It was not unexpected - the poor man was living on borrowed time for years. He had a massive heart attack Saturday morning and lingered in grave condition throughout the weekend, which at least gave his family time to gather and say good bye. My SIL pointed out last night that they first met in 5th grade when they were seated next to each other in class. Only 10 years of her life were spent without him in it. Sweet and sad at the same time.
I just talked to her eldest daughter this morning. They are doing as well as they can. Never easy, even when you know it's been coming for years. His care-taking was the major focal point of their lives for the past 5 years, so there's a real emptiness there now, even though his pain and their burden is gone.
On a different topis, it is spectacularly beautiful outside today!
