Tinky, so far I have no friends/family coming to the closing. Hint Hint Looking forward to meeting Mr. Happy. Anyone coming to my birthday performance will be treated to cake and coffee afterwards in the parish house....just sayin'
Good morning, kids. Hi! Bye! Off to a meeting ...

Morning peeps! Who was that masked man?

I'm not sure, but his horse left behind a little prezzie.
Shhhh we'll wait for Girly to pick it up.
Really?

Morning Adults! My two favorite NY men were just lovely last night, and I got to see Idina in the matinee before she got sick during the evening show. I really liked the show, and she sang her face off - as did LaChanze. Off to see Beautiful today and Bridges tonight.
YOU, how amazing are Idina & LaChanze in that show? Loved them and the show! Enjoy "BEAUTIFUL" I really love this show too...of course being a huge Carole King fan helps

They were both amazing. Always Starting Over - wow. The whole cast was strong.
I really don't get how it got such negative reviews by some.
And Moony, I figured I don't do stuff like this too often, so go big! At least I put part of my bonus to very good use.
Tomorrow night - Hedwig!
Off to catch the train soon. I am seeing my two favorite men again tonight at Bridges. Rain rain stay away.
YWIW, you are having my dream vacation, as well!
Back in the office after a looooong week of presentations.
Parts of the week are fun, and it's interesting to be a part of the network announcements... but, mostly, I'm glad to be back in the office so I can catch up on the work that doesn't get done by itself. (Despite being chained to clients for the last 4 days!)
Hope you're all having a great week.
I decided I couldn't let BRIDGES close without seeing it, so am bringing Mom to the matinee on Saturday. The change of scene will be good (for both of us), and she's feeling a little stronger (all things considered), so hopefully it will work out!
That's all I've got. I'll send out my programming grid/overview booklet once I get it all written up. A couple of shows I'll be interested in sampling. And many that I won't!
Addy - I am glad your mom is a wee bit stronger.
Both Beautiful and Bridges were great, in very difference ways. But, O'Hara was amazing, simply amazing.
Tomorrow night - Hedwig.
BTW - my dry climate adjusted pores is not loving the humidity. Bleech!
Happy Friday Adults!

Morning peeps! Another busy weekend for Boob's. Tonight meeting up with a friend I haven't seen in 30+ years. Meeting up at some karaoke place. Tomorrow rehearsal from 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. and then going to see a friend's daughter who's in a band. Sunday is church and then off to visit with Mama HC. Stopping on our way home at my sons to meet their new puppy, Baci. Somewhere in there will be ironing for the week and house cleaning.
Tonight is another in a seemingly never ending series of events at school where my presence is "required." (I skipped one yesterday. )
Later tonight we're meeting YWiW for post-show cocktails/dinner at Sardi's. Tomorrow night we're all going to see VIOLET. Sunday is the rehearsal for my reading on Monday night.
And I loved THE BRIDGES OF MADISON COUNTY last night, as did J2. IMHO, Kelly O'Hara FTW!

WOW...sounds like you had a full schedule. I'm so sorry life has been hectic on my end. Hopefully the next time you're in work will be calmer and we can meet after work for dinner and a show. Just the 2 of us
There's a whole reorg going on over here, so no going out for lunch right now. I have to run home for rehearsals after work. The next time this place will be up and running properly and then we can enjoy a nice dinner and a show without me being frazzled.
