Just a quick report in. I just returned from a whirlwind stay in NYC. It was uber-hectic, disorganized at points, frustrating at moments but utterly AMAZING when it came to seeing "All My Sons" and Patrick Wilson.
Plus, when we went to the Sunday matinee I had a fabulous seat in row C...and ended up with actor BILL PAXTON sitting to my left. Fabulous for me but wildly unfortunate for the poor guy who found himself sitting next to an uber-fan of HBO's "Big Love." He VERY graciously signed autographs for me (and also for three of my friends). And, he allowed me to ask/interrogate him about the new season. What a sweetheart--and, I must add, VERY handsome!!!
So, Bill is on my left, Patrick is just a few feet away from me...it was a stalker's dream!!!
Finally, Patrick gave me and the others in our little fan group a couple of wonderful surprises this weekend that meant so very much to us. Not only is Patrick insanely talented but he's a very sweet and gracious person.
I'll post my review of "All My Sons" and "Spamalot" on the main board.
Girly, there were so many snafu's on Saturday that I couldn't get to the business center to pull up your cell # from my Facebook. And Sunday was another rollercoaster...I'm so sorry...but I'm coming back in January. Let's start planning NOW.
