I'm sorry, cuz. Tink - how uncomfortable! Good excuse to work from Starbucks. I'll meet you there.
Lah Erp.
and I guess a pipe must have burst or something in another office so they had to shut the heat off completely for the moment so i can't even seek solice in another area. Even thought they are still at least 15 degrees warmer than in here. I was told to "suck it up" lol.

Warmth, caffiene and carbs are right around the corner.
Morning stagglers.
Moony, you'll be pleased to know that I got in and out of the city via bus with no mishaps yesterday. I did forget to tell you that coming home from Euan's show Sunday night, we were stopped between Edison and Metropark. An Amtrak train had to wait at Metropark for EMS, so we had to wait for that to happen and them to leave before we could proceed. Got back to New Brunswick 30 minutes or so later than anticipated. That hold-up was understandable, though.
Tink, what are you and your little sister person going to see this weekend?

Girly -
bus = good
train = not so much
So my boss and I are seeing a matinee in NYC one Wednesday in December (the school is paying!). Any suggestions (of shows I don't have tickets to yet)?
I think that leaves only plays? Though, you've got Tale of Two Cities and In The Heights
The 39 Steps
Boeing Boeing
Speet-The-Plow - Raul and Jeremy Piven
All My Sons - Starring beacs stalkee
Sounds fun, Tink. I liked The 39 Steps, too.
ETA: Knowing me, I'm prob missing some, too.

I let her pick out of Phantom, Gypsy and 39 Steps and she chose 39 Steps. I was actually quite proud of her for picking away from mainstream. She saw some shows when she was younger but since she has been in theater she has only seen Curtains, so I'm really excited to share this with her.
I really wanted to share Gypsy with her, but she didn't have very nice things to say about Moonys BFF so I just let the conversation die, lol.
Oooh. Dissing Moony's BFF! Not good!

Oh dear. Well, she's not everyuone's cup of tea.
Or flask of whiskey.
Has she ever explained her distaste for consonants to you, Moony?

Yes, it has to do with a childhood trauma. It was for this very reason that Sesame Street was created.

Good morning adults, I sat with one of my friends on the train. Her husband was laid off and I cannot even imagine how he is going to find a job in commmercial real estate? Very sad discussion.
Good morning.
Sommsy, I'm sorry for your loss.
Brd, unfortunately, I think we'll be hearing those stories more and more. Corporations are cutting back and institutions that rely on donations and funding from the government are having to close or scale back...
Moony, I love a mid-week get-away!
Am just online for a moment before I fly away again... the NY-Chicago shuttle just keeps on rolling!
This made me giggle!

Katie Holmes on Eli Stone tonight. The commercials looked pretty good.
I just love that the show has resurrected Three Dog Night.

I've had a little crush on Jonny Lee Miller since Hackers.
And Angelina Jolie, but that's a different subject. I'm so confused!

The president of Team Aniston does not understand the above ^ statement.
Moony, Angelina and Jonny were once a happily married couple. But then again, they got divorced, so maybe not so happily.
