I just can't believe that at age 46, in the year 2008, THIS is the reality.
Call me Polyanna (however you spell that), but I am actually thrilled about the progress we have made in gay rights, and that Prop 8 is even on the ballot. The gay rights movement is barely 40 years old, and look how far we've come.
I'm hopeful when I see an episode of Brothers & Sisters with a loving, committed gay couple, and you don't hear about boycotts or stations not running the episodes.

It will fail. Just get your buts out and vote. And get everyone you know out to vote.

On a totally different issue.
Zander is a very odd cat. I am playing fetch with him with one of the little furry play mice he has, and he keeps bringing it back, but dumping it inside my attache, and then starts digging around my attache for it.
I have closed the attache, and he drops it into something else to begin digging for it.
Zorra just watches, bemused.
Weird cat.

I forgot the Lyons Club semi-annual Pancake Breakfast is today. Going to meet some peeps around 11ish. It's not like the breakfast is all that good, but my friend's dad is still a member and he always gets me a ticket. The guy that sells the 50-50's was on the force with my dad. Same thing everytime I go. "Hi Girly! How're you? Still working at _____? How's your brother? Is he still living in Michigan?" He hasn't lived in Michigan for 10 years and 2 states now. It's kinda comforting in a weird way, I guess. Always nice to see him, though. Then off to The Toxic Avenger this afternoon.

Cheyenne Jackson tickled me. AFTER ordering SoMMS a drink but NOT tickling him, and hanging out with Girly in his dressing room (where he DIDN'T tickle her) but BEFORE we got married. To others. And then he tweeted Boobs. He also tweeted he's good friends with some chick on "The Voice" who just happens to be good friends with Tink's ex. And I'm still married. Oh, and this just in: "Pettiness, spite, malice ....Such ugly emotions... So sad." - After Eight, talking about MEEEEEEEE!!! I'm so honored! :-)
