I actually had to do some work after a flurry of messages. Since I'm not coming in tomorrow, tomorrow's task need to be done today.
Or not.
I just missed Boobsie!
I just had my Mac totally redone, courtesy of the bro's girlfriend. Spankin' new 320 gig internal HD, meaning I no longer need an external drive for my music. YAY!
The cows bring in lemonade in their. Next to normal shirts
Hmm. Lemonade sounds delish right now. I wonder if they have any downstairs.

*smacks Shira upside the head*
Is that the only way you're ever going to learn, Shira?
And you're answer to that is...?
No need for violence! Least I don't think so. Take away something that will hurt more. Credit cards, prezzies?

I've already done that, Girly. It hasn't seemed to work so far.
I have no money.
But I'll try and be better with my P's and Q's.
Just try to be better with your Pleases and Thank Yous.
Please?
Thank you.
Another day of. painting sets has me. Exhausted
Leaving work shortly. Taking sick time, and I'm off tomorrow.
*hugs DD gently*
I am leaving work early to tend to my mom. Her dog got attacked last night while she was walking her.
A pit bull (unleashed) attached her pup, and would not let go. The pup is going through surgery to try and close the huge gash.
My mom spoils her dog even more than I do my cats, so, as you can imagine, she is upset.
The dog should be OK, but there is a huge risk of infection and multiple surgeries possible.
Poor mom. Poor Lexie.

YWIW - that's terrible Was there an owner of the Pit around? Can it be followed up?
Yes, the owner was there, and she knows him (he is developmentally disabled, but lives with his parents). Her pet-sitter also knows them, and already called them last night to let them know.
Apparently he was there, but even he had a problem getting the dog off of Lexie. I am just surprised my mom was not bit during the whole fiasco.
I asked the ER Vet to take pictures of the injuries for liability purposes. This dog is dangerous. I told my mom to call the SPCA as well.
I was just going to ask if anyone has contacted the ASPCA. Is the fact that the owner is developmentally disabled going to factor into the liability, YWiW?
The poor thing! Good to hear nothing happened to your mom. Keeping good thoughts for them!

yikes, YWIW, that is awful!!! poor puppy
**passes out shots**
I'm in a suprisingly good mood today, despite longing to not be at my desk when it is beautiful out.
On a random note - I'm going on my first motorcycle ride tomorrow night. I'm really excited yet very nervous. I'm such a wuss lol.
Normally, the parents would be the legal guardian in such situation, but even if not, the dog lives in their house. So, he was walking it, but we could argue that it is the responsibility of the homeowner.
This is going to cost at least $2500, if not $3000.
I'm sorry, YWIW.
Tinkerbell, wear a helmet!!!
My dad used to have a couple of bikes - it was a treat to get to go on the back of his bike around the blocks a few times.
And, WEAR A HELMET!
And have fun.
Poor Lexie!!
Tink - WEAR A HELMET.
Off to see my Mom and Grandma since "the incident" of hydrocodone past.
I'm nervous.
