As far as the show went, it's not as bad as the reviews would lead one to believe. As far as Ms. Block goes, Ben Brantley was being kind.

Happy Momma's Day to all the Hot Mommas and Mothers!
Saw "Wishful Drinking" with Carrie Fisher yesterday afternoon. I tells ya - you have to see it when it hits NYC next. It is amazing. I laughed so hard. Quite a woman.
We also closed Illyria last night, which was sad. I loved the show and the cast, I wish we could run another weekend. But it's also time for the next one! Now off to strike and having some time off!

Exhausting couple of days with family - but no fights and my sister and I got along reasonably well.
An afternoon filled with water fights with a 6 and 3 year old is about as much as I can handle!

Excellent.
The flight was fine. The father? Not so much. He forgot to pick up meds today (last minute rx) because it was "inconvenient" for him, and he forgot.
I finally got him to sacrifice 15 mins for me so that I might not end up limping around NY and/or unable to walk in my graduation.
Basically, the hypothesis is this:
I pulled my right hip flexors and/or other muscles, meaning I'm in pain sitting, walking, or breathing. The pain has extended from mid-thigh to mid-abdomen. It's pulled muscles PLUS nerves waking up (Perfect timing!).
So my Dad needed to pick up the muscle relaxants because the crazy amount of pain pills isn't HELPING. Hence, the urgency.
*screams*
Why is is that I am expected to drive him to airport at 5 a.m., pickup his "favorite oranges" before the Farmer's Market closes (in 20 mins), and also fix the cable TV, internet, his excel documents, and prepare dinner, in ONE day.
BUT when I ask for him to take 15 mins to do something ON HIS WAY HOME, it's "Ugh, Shira, it's just so difficult".
Insight, anyone?
