Two events of note on my way to work this morning:
1: Old lady (there's always an old lady in my life) - walking down the street with one arthritic hand unsteadily holding on to her cane, the other hand texting away on a cell phone.
2: How not to get money from me: Crossing 7th Avenue, I saw one of those UHO guys trying to get donations for the homeless. I had an extra buck in my pocket so I thought "What the hell?" I was about 15 feet away from the table when the guy catches my eye and shouts out "You should shave it all off! You're bald anyway!" So instead of my buck he got my finger as I sailed right past the table.
Cheyenne Jackson tickled me. AFTER ordering SoMMS a drink but NOT tickling him, and hanging out with Girly in his dressing room (where he DIDN'T tickle her) but BEFORE we got married. To others. And then he tweeted Boobs. He also tweeted he's good friends with some chick on "The Voice" who just happens to be good friends with Tink's ex. And I'm still married. Oh, and this just in: "Pettiness, spite, malice ....Such ugly emotions... So sad." - After Eight, talking about MEEEEEEEE!!! I'm so honored! :-)

Gearing up for my family this weekend.
My younger sis is coming tomorrow. Maybe Shira can send me some meds to sedate me throughout the two days.

Oh my.

D2 - I am so grateful that I can celebrate Mothers and Fathers day. I'm fully aware of how fortunate I am. And will be thinking of you, and a couple of other friends who lost parents this year.
I have tickets for "9 to 5" (too lazy to bold it like you did) on Tuesday. We'll see...
DD, congrats on the successful run of the show. I know what you mean about being tough to let go. I felt that way after my last concert - and wished that there had been more than one performance. I loved every moment of it, from the first rehearsal through the final bow.
I saw 'Every Little Step' again last night, and enjoyed it even more the second time, so I could pay attention to details I missed the first time.

I will be filled with Happiness this evening.
My friend is breaking out into the Pampered Chef business, and she conned her mother into having a demo so she can "practice" on family and friends before branching out. Somehow I got roped into going to that tomorrow.
Sunday's up in the air at the moment due to work issues. Bleh.
