Yep - I had to block her.
It took me awhile to figure out HOW to untie my twitter from my Facebook. I was thrilled when I did, because even I know no one cares about the minutiae.
Here's my thing: I twitter. I facebook update. I add pictures. And it's really, in the end - FOR me. I like that I have small things that are recorded that tell me and remind me about my life. The positives, the negatives, and the minutiae that shape it. That it comes in a public format is fine, and for people who like to pay attention to this silly details of my life, I'm flattered and won't say I don't like the attention. But I'm not angered or disappointed that you don't care about my cooking updates, why should you? Hence, I'll try and become more interesting.
Girly, I had a nice birthday, friends came over for Thai food, we visited, and watched the Lakers lose (which I am sure gave Q pleasure on multiple levels).
Work has just been a wee bit crazy this week, and will be next week.
I need a nap...
And Addy, wonderful campaign.
I can't access the video from my "fancy schmancy" device either, Tink. But I can post here from it. It's a pain, but I can do it.

Fancy Schmany device = fail.
Sent from my good old PC that can show videos - on a large screen even!
"schmany," Moony?
Oh, and Shira, I suggest a diary or a journal. Then no matter what you write it will seem interesting when we steal it and read it behind your back.

Greetings.
I lasted two hours at a family event and then I basically passed out!
Looking forward to returning to LA, I admit.
Good morning, lovlies. Nice Swedish breakfast for ya!
Heya, folks!
Looks interesting, JG. Hope you're having a great time and taking a bunch of pics for us to see!
I wanted to get a few solar lights to put in this little garden area I have. This past month everybody on the street seemed to be putting them out. GRRRR! Searching around online, I found solar lights that change color, so I ordered them. Put them out yesterday, so last night was their "debut". They looked pretty. When I went out to get the paper just now, one of the neighbors commented, saying how nice they looked and asking where I got them.

Makin' nice with the neighbours, I like that, Girly!
I'm watching SENSE AND SENSIBILITY right now - my favorite Austen film next to PERSUASION.
Not really making nice so much, since he was one of the ones that put out the regular lights recently, and since I didn't want to be a copycat went on my search. I think he was a bit jealous that I managed to find something different than what the rest of the street had. He's one of those ones that always has to be the first with whatever newfangled thing is the latest craze. It surprised me that he didn't find the changing color lights first!
Ha! Now it sounds like I'M trying to be the first. Oh, well.

You're just a natural trend-setter, Girly.
I assume the caps are there for a reason, Deet?
Yep, that's me, Deet. LOL!
He always does that with titles of shows and movies. I figured it was a writer thing, or some sort of rule of English that I'd forgotten in my dotage.

I've forgotten most English details such as those caps, Girly.
But I do remember my P's and Q's. Especially when "May I please have a Q and a Martini"?

I put titles in caps, as well.
Such as, SENSE AND SENSIBILITY, ENCHANTED APRIL and EVER AFTER are my holy trinity of romantic movies.
I wish for a Q and it comes! Sans martini, but I'll take him over a martini.

May I assume pronoun usage is just another part of the details of English that you've forgotten?
