You two have fun. I'll be here cleaning up the mess.
I lie. Someone else can do it. I'm off to do errands and enjoy my last few weeks of freedom.
I'll take Thailand over creme brulee anyday...but then again I'm not married

You might be surprised what you can do with Creme Brulee.
Then again, maybe not
Perhaps that is another category all together with bologna, hot dogs, rib eye and prime rib...

"we like DD vacations!!!"
Oh yes, we do.
Although, I must selfishly admit that I prefer the ones in which I participate
it's ok, being selfish in this instance is completely understandable! :)
Q, the plane flies to New York too, you know!

Oh, I know. Believe me, I know.
I have it on good autority, however, that they prefer if you actually pay for the ticket. Therein lies the problem!
Besides, I'm still headed to that island at the bottom of the previous page
I'm warning you all right now, that I will be totally jealous and spiteful in a couple of days.
I know, but we could go after DD leaves - no?
Truthfully, I am seriously thinking of booking a room out in the cold, dreary, deserted Hamptons for a weekend. Not as glorious as a warm beach, but at least it would be away. And it would suit my mood far more.

That's ok, Shamey - you can come sit by me and we'll be jealous and spiteful together!
And D2, a weekend in the Hamptons sounds pretty freakin' fantastic to me.
We'll call you too, Q.
A weekend in the Hamptons
Would be charming,
And the air would be fresh.
A weekend in the Hamptons
With a wind chill,
And an overcast sky.
A weekend in the Hamptons
And martinis -
very dry.
I was hoping you would do something like that ...
One of my favorite weekends in DC was going to VA Beach in February. It was actually the first time I have ever been to the beach in winter. Back home beach = sun and heat.
And I'll just rub it in that I get to see DD and the NYC peeps AND I got to see shameys in a matter of a two week time frame!!

DD - I grew up in VA Beach.
Tink . . . nevermind
Is Va Beach even a real city?
Are you a real person?
Of course not!
I am but a figment of your imagination Deet. No one else on the board can even see me. So, for example, Q will probably be confused by your last post.
I thought so!
So then, I take it Virginia Beach is not a real city, either, and DD is confusing the hell out of us too?
If you drink enough, VA Beach appears out of the mist. Like Avalon.
I guess DD was heavily inebriated when he visited.
