I sure will Addy! I picked up a regular tour book, but there was another one sort of hidden that I could not resist. It's a listing of all the best "Dive" bars in New York. I am packing my snorkel just for the occasion.
I think I might bake something... I feel the need to 'nest'.

DG - I hear Swan Lake is sold out here for the next week. Good sign in my book!
ETS: Where in the hell did Dame get that avatar of Jake holding Liza with a Z?! I nearly fell over when I saw that!
I can't wait to hear what is listed in that book!
While I adore the Rainbow Room, I think a night of blue jeans and dive bars can be a total hoot!
I'm suddenly in the mood to go chug beer...

Baking and Beer - always good in my book!
LOL - I didn't think about that... that's quite a combination!
Maybe I'll just pick one of those activities!

Cheeze - that sounds great! And I believe the icon pic was something the talented Sueleen cooked up.
*sigh - remembers SWAN LAKE - heavier sigh* BUT, the DVD is on the way!

You know Addy - I believe I have a recipe somewhere for beer bread...problem solved! lol.
DG - DVD? *runs to Amazon*.
Actually, I do, too, cheeze.
And, I have a really good recipe for a beer cheese dip. It's good for Superbowl parties.

Okay - the Beer cheese dip did it. I have to excuse myself to make a sammich! Have a great evening all!

The DVD is of the original production. I've always wanted to order it, but I ordered it immediately after seeing it last weekend!
Addy,
How about baking a really "big" cake on Sunday???
Then you'd be solving MY problem, too!
Miss Pennywise - with words on it, right?
DG, I should get that DVD... the next best thing to being there. *sigh*
...I should go make something to eat, also. I keep thinking I'm not hungry, but I should eat something today.
Yes, with words. He was very specific about which words, too!

Stress induced anorexia, so common. (I could use a little these days.)
Seriously, have some lunch!
I love it!

MP, what is your kid in to? Mine is a Star Wars action figure nut. He searches for vintage toys on e-bay.
Well, for his birthday this year, he asked for Prince Ken and Princess Barbie dolls, so I think my child may be a little more "advanced" than yours, if you know what I mean.
His sister, who is turning 10 next week, asked for a tool box.
I think we can all see that my children do not feel constricted by gender stereotypes.
(My son also likes pirates, Thomas the Tank Engine, trucks, cars and arranging things in rows.)
...arranging things in rows. That sounds like my childhood. Organizing my room was one of my favorite things to do.
(Still is...)
Hmmm. Organizing your room is one of your favorite things to do.
I see we share an affinity for order, Addy.
Only serious orgaholics understand the euphoria one achieves from a well-planned closet.
Oh, I wish I had the time to throw everything out of my closet and reorganise.
That would be fun afternoon.
Nothing nicer than a fresh and tidy wardrobe.
I think my friends would probably tell you that I take great pleasure in my well-organized closets.
I love order, and even love the process of organizing. I'm in the middle of going through lots of old papers and files at home, and am trying to think of what kind of built-ins I want to have installed in my guest room/office to accommodate my needs... it's so comforting to me to have EVERYTHING in it's place.

This probably won't shock anyone, but I'm big on organization.
gh, isn't it a wonderful thing to do? Every season I go through all my clothes and figure out what I need to add and fill in, and what should be donated because I no longer wear it... I'm very methodical about it.
DG - that doesn't shock me at all.
We have quite a group of organizers here!
